Convention Friends and Highlights!

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

Today I want to share some of the amazing time I had at my first Stampin' UP! Convention in Salt Lake City.  have to admit that the first two days were not fun........I couldn't find my group (there were 6000 demonstrators and it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.........I finally just gave up) and then there was dealing with the LONG and NOT MOVING lines!   BUT.......my last day at convention TOTALLY MADE UP for any of the unhappy I was feeling earlier.  I was able to find three of my SW Stamper friends and we played out the rest of the convention together.  Here's some highlights of my trip........

Can you see Jack sleeping the chair at the lower right hand corner of this picture.  He was so worn out that I said he was going to take a rest in this comfy chair while I went off exploring........(That comfy chair made him VERY HAPPY!)

Jack took the four of us out to dinner the last night we were in Salt Lake City.  Here are my fellow SW Stamper Demo Friends.....Isabel, Teresa, (Me) and Edna.

And here is Sue putting the finishing touches on her convention swaps.  I was sitting one row behind Sue  and she kept busy the entire flight working on her swaps.  The man that was sitting next to me was VERY IMPRESSED that even through all the air turbulence we had encountered on our flight from Phoenix to Salt Lake City.......that Sue was able to get all her pieces positioned straight on her swap cards!

Here's what would flash up on the screen every time they were ready to announce the winning wristband color.  They FINALLY called my color on Saturday afternoon and here is what I won......

I was handed a wrapped up package of goodies.........That included the new "Halloween Hello" stamp set.........The container of both the Black and Orange Stampin' Glitter and the new Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper.  I just about couldn't believe it.  My demonstrator friend Edna (who was sitting right next to me)......also won the same Prize Patrol as I did..  We both danced until we received our goodies!
