The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is......
23 days and counting!!!!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday. I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but I added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Here is my Spot Light Sunday on the LEFT.......
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT......
So for my Mix-It-UP! Monday card ....... I stepped my card up with additional layers and some pretty embossing to the sentiment.
I used my Black Embossing Powder to add a real WOW FACTOR to my sentiment.
And my ribbon received an upgrade too. I used the same Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine but before I tied it up into a pretty bow.......I added the smallest piece of 5/8" Mini Striped Watermelon Wonder Ribbon. And I have to say that I think that little touch of ribbon added a pretty look to my card.
I did the same coloring technique to my Sale-a-Bration Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper......
And I added a thin layer of shine to the bee by coating it with some Fine Tip Glue.
The only other upgrade I made to my card was adding some Basic Black cardstock panels ...... And that just gave my card the POP I was looking for.
So there you have it friends.........
Do you have a favorite?????
"Wow", do I LOVE your upgraded version. The colors are so striking and vibrant!!! Love how you outlined the flower. Fabulous, fabulous card Kadie!!!

ReplyDeleteSeriously sweet how you added the snippet of ribbon in the baker's twine . . . almost like a butterfly!
