Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!

Today's project is all about the KIT!  This is perfect timing.......as I was asked to do a presentation yesterday at the Stampin' UP! Unite and Excite Conference in Tucson.  My topic was Hosting Kit Events.  Here's a sample of what I did with the Greeting You Simply Created Kit.......

This kit includes 8-trifold cards and flags, along with 8-string envelopes and 8-pieces of Calypso Coral Baker's Twine.  The idea behind this kit is to make 8-DARLING cards.  But I took the left over pieces from my original kit and made this SUPER FUN Birthday Banner!

I used up all my left over pieces that were from this kit.........

And I got creative with cutting down those pieces.

I added a twine rope to hang my banner.......

And added a few extra Stampin' UP! embellishments to really make this banner POP!

I'm planning to use this banner for Jack's birthday (in January) and I will string it out over his bathroom mirror and add some fun little "LOVE NOTES" inside each of these string envelopes.

I also made two really fun puffy flowers with White Filter Paper.

Just love how everything coordinates......

And how much a simple embossed tag can add a fun eliminate can add to this banner.
