Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a fun little project I made for my SW Stampin' UP! demo meeting last night. Check out this fun little scratch paper holder I made..........
This idea came from my good SU friend Lynn (in Michigan) and I just changed a few things to make it my own. It a 4"x4" Note Pad holder that can be filled with store bought 4"x4" Post-It-Note cubes .......... OR ......... do like I did and fill this holder with stamped scratch paper. I used the new Project Life stamp set "Remember This" to stamp my "remember this" sentiment across the top of my scratch paper.
The holder base is a 4-1/2" x 11" piece of Whisper White Cardstock that is scored at 1", 5-1/2", 6-1/2" am 7-1/2".
Then you attach a 4-1/2" x 8" piece of Whisper White to the above piece (Scoring it at 4-1/2" and 5-1/2").
The box (to hold the scratch paper) is made from two pieces of 3"x3" Whisper White card stock. Score one side and then turn your card stock and score at 3/4" then 1" and 2". Do this to both pieces.
You will attach the two 3x3 pieces to the inside of your holder on both sides......And this will create the box holder for your scratch paper to fit into.
I added DSP to the front of the box and the inside back cover.
And I also added a DSP panel to both sides of my box. Those pieces measured 1"x2-1/4". This is what my holder looks like with the scratch paper remove.
And my scallop "notes" embellishment was created with the help of the new "Calling All Heroes" stamp set.
So there you have it friends.......The FUN little paper holder that was given away at my July SW Stampers Demo Meeting.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the Early Bird gift I gave away at my July Stamp Camp ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
What a darling gift! Love how it stands up in the back!
