Mix-It-UP! Monday Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

Here is my Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT........

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT.......

I used the same layout for my card today as I did for my card yesterday ...... but for both layers of DSP, I matted those with a panel of Whisper White cardstock.

Instead of the Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker, I used my Signo White Gel Pen to add stitching lines around both of the DSP panels.

My sentiment was stamped onto a panel of Tip Top Taupe that was die-cut from the 'Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits Dies'.

For my ice cream cone ...... I used the 'Frozen Treats Framelits Dies' and created a delicious looking ice cream cone with Tip Top Taupe, Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach cardstock. 

I mounted my ice cream cone onto a some 'Layering Circles Framelits' and adhered that directly to one of the DSP panels.

And here's a close-up look at my ice cream cone.  To create some interest to both scoops of ice cream ....... I used the 'Fine-Tip Glue Pen' to accent the edges of the ice cream.

So there you have it friends........

Two darling cards that were made with some 'OH SO FUN' new product.
