Just For You Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! 

Today is Mix-It-UP! Monday, and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ..... But I changed things up to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

Here's my Spotlight Sunday card from yesterday on the TOP....

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the BOTTOM....

The first upgrade I made to my card for today was changing up the orientation from a landscape style card to a portrait style card.  I also changed up the base for my card to Pecan Pie. 

The first step I took was to add a 2" x 4" panel of the 'Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper about 3/4" from the bottom edge of my base card.

After I had my DSP panel adhered to the front of my card ...... I decided to do a raised/split layer with two panels of Very Vanilla cardstock on the front of my card.  I cut two panels of Very Vanilla cardstock and used the 'Cheery Patterns Embossing Folder' on each of those panels.

I measured out both the Very Vanilla panels and added Stampin' Dimensionals to the back.  Then I adhered those two panels to the front of my card.  Before I adhered down the top Very Vanilla panel .... I wrapped some 'Linen Thread' around the top and added my sentiment piece.

That sentiment piece was created with the 'Autumn Leaves' set and I stamped that onto a small Very Vanilla circle and matted that to a tag from the 'Pretty Pillow Box Dies'.

And the finishing touch was adding my three leaves from the 'Autumn Leaves Dies' to the front of my card and this upgraded card was called DONE!!!

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends

Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2023 Stampin' UP! Mini Catalog.  This card uses several products from that new catalog ........ And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today..........

I started my card off today with a Very Vanilla base that was 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" ..... And it is scored at 4-1/4".

Next, I added a 5-1/4" x 2" panel of the 'Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper' to the bottom portion of my card.......

And before I adhered that panel down ..... I wrapped some 'Linen Thread' around the center and tied it up into a pretty bow.

My three falling leaves are from the 'Autumn Leaves Dies' set .... And I used the 'Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper' to crop out those three leaves.

And the finishing touch was stamping my sentiment from the 'Autumn Leaves' set in the upper right-hand corner of my card.  And this card was done in NO TIME FLAT!!!

Stacking Candy Corn Boxes

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!

Today I have another Saturday Sweet Treat packaging idea to share with you.  This project is a SUPER YUMMY, sweet treat packaging.  Let me jump right in with my share.

I shared this creation back in 2021 and thought since I was on such a Candy Corn kick this year ..... It was worth an instant replay.   Here's the link to my original post:  Kards by Kadie: Candy Corn Boxes

Each section of this Candy Corn treat packaging starts off with a 8-1/2" x 6" piece of cardstock.  The measurements are listed in the photo above.

I stamped a single sentiment on each box ..... And then I just stacked them on top of each other before packaging.  I tucked LOTS of YUMMY candy inside each little box.

I wrapped some 'Black and White Gingham Ribbon' around the end of the stacked boxes.....

And added some 'Metallic Mesh Ribbon' to the gingham bow.

Just doesn't get any EASIER.

Tri Fold Angle Card

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Fun Fold Friday and that means I have a special little Fun Fold Card to share with you. Let's kick off this Fun Fold Friday share right now.....

This SUPER FUN card starts off with a 12" x 5-1/2" piece of Black cardstock.  It is scored at 4" and 8".

I measured up 2" from the left bottom corner and cut up to the 2nd score line.  This created the tri fold angle cut on my card.

I used the 'Them Bones Designer Series Paper' to cover both the front and inside of my card.

And the 'Tricks & Treats' stamp set and coordinating dies helped me to embellish my card.

I did add some 'Gold & Black 3/8" Ribbon' that I colored with my Black Stampin' Blends to the inside fold.....

And finished off the inside with a White panel for me to write a Halloween message.

The finishing touch was adding one of the 'Glow In The Dark Ghosts' to the inside top corner of my card.

Just doesn't get any EASIER.

EEK Candy Corn

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY TAG.  Now that you have the details for my Tag Thursday creation for this week ........ Let's jump right in with my tag share for today........

I'm learning this year that either you ARE ...... or you ARE NOT a Candy Corn FAN.  In my case I am a HUGE FAN.

So, I started this tag off with a White base that was 2-1/2" x 4-1/4".

I used the 'Tricks & Treats' stamp set to stamp my "EEK" message around the entire base tag.

I created a trio of Candy Corn from the 'Tricks & Treats Dies' and arranged those onto the front of my tag with Dimensionals.

And all that was left to do was add some 'Iridescent Ribbon' (that was colored with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends) to the top of my tag and tie it off with some 'White Baker's Twine'.

And there you have it friends......

YUMMY or NO!!!!!

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

I started my card off today with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Pumpkin Pie base and that piece is scored at 4-1/4".

The first thing I did was add a "Boo" cut out from the 'Tricks & Treats Dies' to the bottom right-hand corner of my card.  I did this mainly for postitioning purposes for the DSP and cardstock panel going right above it.

Next, I created a FUN little center panel .... This was created with a Black panel and topped off with a 'Them Bones Designer Series Paper' panel.  Before I adhered that piece down to my card front .... I wrapped some 'Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon' around the center and tied it up into a pretty bow.

I then got busy and created a SUPER SPOOKY (NOT REALLY) frankie image.  That was created with the 'Tricks & Treats' stamp set and several creepy layering pieces.

I added three 'Glitter Sequins' around the front of my card.....

And finished off the inside with a FUN sentiment.

And there you have it friends......

Candy Corn Holder

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is '3D TUESDAY'.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project that I created and want to share with you.  This project was SO FUN to create .... and I want to jump right in and share that project with you now.

These litle Candy Corn Holders were the PERFECT little treat to pass out to my girlfriends from the Ranch who I had lunch with ...... and also to all the FABULOUS ladies who work at my Hair Salon.

These little boxes started out with a 4" x 4-1/2" piece of White cardstock.  That was scored on all four sides at 1-1/4".  I then created a Candy Corn piece to attach to the front and back of each box.

I added strips of Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie around the bottom of each Candy Corn cut out to make the entire box look like a GIANT Candy Corn.

I stuffed each box with a cello bag of Candy Corn

And added a "BOO" sentiment to the front of each box.  That sentiment was die-cut from the 'Tricks & Treats Dies'.
