First Stamp Club Projects

It's Friday my Blogger Friends and my weekend is going to be NON-STOP FUN and PLAY.  My friend Kris and I are taking off this afternoon (after my nail appointment - I seriously have to get some PAMPER TIME in before I slot my PLAY time!) and we are taking off for JoAnn's.  NOW...for those of you that have every store known to man at your back door........stop laughing at my JoAnn's trip - It's seriously a LONG DRIVE to get to any stores when you live in SaddleBrooke and to get to JoAnn's or Michael's.....Well....they are on the FAR EAST side of Tucson and that's a BIG DEAL.  I'll keep you posted to what else I have planned for this weekend.....But Ipromise it will be......ALL FUN!
First up today is the card that my Stamp Club ladies made last Saturday at our first Stamp Club gathering.  We made this amazing card that was a CASED card from the private SU Demo site which one of my fellow SU demos made.  We used the new My Friend stamp set and the fabulously yummy 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon from SU along with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The other new product we used was the Lace Ribbon Border punch to give the bottom of our card a fun little lace look.
I had a couple other samples of this same card made up for the ladies to see what it looks like when you use other Stampin' UP! color combinations.
Next up is the bookmark we made - and we used all new SU InColors to create this cute baby.  I just knew when I saw this bookmark featured in another SU demos blog - that I would just had to have my Club gals make it.
We used the Pennant Parade stamp set and all the new InColor to create our pennants.  We then punched out our pennants using the Petite Pennants Builder punch and topping it off with one of the scallop circles that come from the Bigz L dies Perfect Pennants.

And here's one last view of how darling this little cutie turned out.  They are going to make great bookmarks for the ladies to use in their Idea Book and Catalog.
And our last project was a technique project - what I wanted to do was show the ladies how you could use a SU product to create something that it wasn't designed for and get double duty out of your SU product.  This technique showed the ladies how to use the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch to create the fun bow to our little birthday packages.
This card is a 3"x3" little gift card - and is created using the 1-1/4" square punch on a piece of Bright DSP.  We then wrapped a tiny piece of 1/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon around the front of the DSP and glued this piece to a 1-3/8" square.  The technique came into play when we punched out the Blossom punch and exposed four loops to the top of the 1-3/8" square to create the fun bow for our birthday package.
Here's a fun view of what this Happy Birthday notecard looked like.......I am going to surprise the two club members who weren't able to join us for this club gathering (Hi Jan and Debbie) and send them one of each of the projects that we made at club - I just know they will enjoy that little surprise (so be surprised ladies when you receive these).

SO......I'm off to go get my nails done and then swing by and pick up Kris. Tomorrow I'm attending a Fun Shop that Linda is putting on - and I will share that project with you early next week.  I have plans to share with you the Stamp Camp photos tomorrow......along with the cards/projects that the ladies made on Wednesday for Stamp Camp.  Hope you can return back here tomorrow if you have some free time ........ Keep Living Your Dream!
