3-D Tuesday-Portfolio

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is PRETTY QUICK and EASY to create and the greatest part of creating this project is all the possibilities you have with the color and stamps that you select.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
This project was inspired by one of my fellow SW Stamper Demo Friend Teresa.  She shared with our group this project she had her club gals make ....... And I knew I was going to have to make this project and share it with you here.
Teresa found this project on Amy at Stamp n Paradise blog ........ And Amy has step-by-step instructions on how to create this VERY EASY project on her blog.  This portfolio opens up and holds 5-beautiful notecards on the right pocket and 5-coordinating envelopes on the left pocket.
As you can see ......... what holds the 5-notecards is actually a constructed pocket.  And what holds the 5-envelopes is actually just a belly band that is secured to the inside of the portfolio.
Here's a close-up look at the belly band that holds the envelopes into the portfolio.  All I used was a strip of Watermelon Wonder Envelope Paper to create my belly band.
And the pocket that holds the notecards is a simple 3-1/2"x2-1/2" box that adheres directly to the inside back cover of the portfolio.
Here's the Watermelon Wonder notecards that I created.......Plan and Simple.....But OH SO PRETTY!
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how this project turned out ........ And this project will be going to a special friend who LOVES PINK as much as I do.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday-BIG Thanks Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but I added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here's a Recap ......
My Spot Light Sunday card is on the left ........
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card is on the right........
My Mix-It-UP! Monday card really got an upgrade done to it.
I started out by embossing my sentiment with clear embossing powder.
I added some 3/8" Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon to the top of my card......
And used clear embossing powder on my flower and stamped several layers of that flower for my card.
I added Stampin' Dimensionals between the layers and that popped up my flower to a whole new level.
So tell me friends ....... Which one do you like the best?

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot Light Sunday-BIG Thanks

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the new 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  This card uses several new products from that catalog ...... So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........
How's this card for when you want to say a BIG THANKS!
I started this card by stamping my sentiment with Dapper Denim ink .......... And I used the "Perfectly Wrapped" set.
I then used the same ink to stamp my dot image across the top of my Whisper White panel.
My flower was stamped with Dapper Denim ink and the 'Flourishing Phrases' stamp set.
For the center of my flower ...... I added a Real Red Petite Petal Flower and a Whisper White center flower from the 'Flourish Thinlits' set.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a Mix-It-UP! Monday version of this very same card ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

PP Saturday-Happy Birthday Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have a fun card to share with you!  This card was made with my April Paper Pumpkin kit ........ And it only took a few extra Stampin' UP! supplies to complete this card.  I'm thrilled with the way this card turned out ........ And want to share that card with you now.
This card is not only beautiful ........ but it also doubles as a gift card holder too.
I added a pocket on the front of the card to either hold a special note ......... Or you can use it to slip a gift card into the pocket.
Here's the tag I created .......... And the best part of this tag is it's the perfect size for a gift tag.
I added a portion of a pretty doilies to the front of my card.......
And added a trail of punched butterflies across the front of my card.
It's the perfect card to give to somebody special for their birthday.

Tag Thursday

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER FUN BIRTHDAY TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
Talk about a quick tag ........
All I did for this tag was cut a piece of Designer Series Paper and attached it to a 2"x4-1/4" tag.
I punched out a Gold Glimmer Star and stamped my sentiment at the top of my tag.
And I did the exact same steps when I created this Tempting Turquoise tag.
And on both the Real Red and the Tempting Turquoise tag ...... I added some Cherry Cobbler Baker's twine to the top.
Festive and Fun tag that is perfect for your next birthday gift.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Friends Friday post with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
Are you running short on time to create a quick Father's Day card?????
This shirt and tie card comes together so quickly that you'll probably be able to make it Sunday morning .......... and still make it look like you spent a lot of time creating it.
I made this card as my share card for the SouthWest Stamper Demo meeting last night.  So....I made about 14 of them and my sentiment inside was stamped with a 'birthday' wish.
I started out with a 4-1/4"x9" piece of Whisper White cardstock and scored it at 4-1/2".  I used thin Sticky Tape to adhere my two sides together ....... And this formed the pocket that my insert piece is sliding into.  My collar insert piece is 3-3/4"x5-1/4".  To create the collar.....I measured in the left and right side 1" and also 1" at the top on both sides.  Where those lines intersect......I cut a 1" slit on both the left and right side of my insert piece.  Then all I needed to do was fold the two cut slit pieces over to meet in the middle and that formed my collar.
I hand drew a tie and cut it out with Designer Series Paper.  And I used a 1-1/4" square for the knot at the top of my tie.  My hanky pocket is a 1" piece of coordinating cardstock ....... And I added some white stitching around the pocket for a little WOW FACTOR.
The final touch was using my Stampin' Write Markers to stitch around the entire shirt to bring a tiny bit of FUN to my otherwise plain white shirt.

I created a template and instructions sheet that I passed out to the ladies in my SW Stampers group last night ........... It walked the ladies through the steps on how to create this card.  If you would like a copy of that template/instructions, contact me with your email address and I'll be happy to forward that document to you.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Tag Thursday creation with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
