Friends Friday - Upline Cards

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Friends Friday.  I have the honor today to spot-light two fabulous cards that I have received from my upline Lisa Pretto.  Both of these card creations are works of art........and it is with great pleasure that I share them here with you.  Let's jump right in with my two card shares for today.
This first card that Lisa made uses the new "Watercolor Words" set.
It's one of those sets that I didn't think I wanted ........ But guess who now owns it!
And Lisa's second card is such a show-stopper!
The Whisper White card panel looks amazing embossed with the new "Brick Wall" embossing folder ....... And what puts this card over-the-top is the Real Red sentiment punched out with a circle punch and some Silver Metallic Thread popping out from behind the circle.  OH SO STUNNING!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Paper Pumpkin samples with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Tag Thursday - Spooky Halloween

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today I have a fun little Halloween tag I made ....... using product from the new 2015 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  This tag was a SCREAM to create (sorry about that) ....... And comes together in no time flat.  Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
Here's the spooky Halloween tag I created using the new "Witches' Night" stamp set (on page 7 of the new holiday catalog).
Here's an closer look at this wicked set.
The image looks SUPER AWESOME when stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Talk about a super shine power!
I also used the spider web image in this set to create some fun to my Basic Gray base tag.  The banner flag for this tag was created with some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and some Silver Glimmer Paper.
For the fiber on the top of my tag ........ I used some of the 5/8" Striped Blackberry Bliss Cotton Ribbon.  All I did was separate the strands and added some Silver Metallic Thread to create a FRIGHTFULLY YUMMY fiber topper.
And of course no Halloween tag would be complete without using one of the new Spider Web Doilies (on page 47).  These amazing doilies just scream spooky fun for any Halloween project.
So there you have it friends ....... My first of many Halloween tags to be completed this season.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a couple Friends Friday cards ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday - Christmas Snowman

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  While waiting for the Holiday Catalog to be released ....... I've come up with a fun little snowman card to share with you today.

This jolly little snowman comes together SUPER FAST and is SO MUCH FUN to create.
I used the 1-3/4" and 2-1/2" circle punches to create my snowman.......And also used the 'Lucky Stars' embossing folder to create some very festive background onto my Marina Mist panel.
And I have to say that the sentiment from the "Festival of Trees" is a perfect fit for the Word Window Punch.
So there you have it friends.  A great way to get into the holiday spirit while you wait for the release of the new 2015 Holiday Catalog.  (Which will be released on September 1st)

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back to share a very festive Tag Thursday with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3-D Tuesday - Suit Case

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER QUICK and SUPER EASY to create.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
I made this special little notecard suitcase for Cheryl who worked at our local grocery store in the bakery department.  Both Jack and I have come to know Cheryl over the last 6-years and when she told us that she was leaving and moving to Las Vegas (to care for her mom)........I just knew I wanted to create something extra special for her.
This little suitcase was the perfect going away gift for her.
I used one of the Stampin' UP! clear cases and added some Early Espresso cardstock to cover the outside of the case and added some Crumb Cake cardstock to create the suitcase straps.
The handle was purchased from the hardware store and I just added it to the side of my clear case.
And of course the inside of her suitcase was filled with pretty All Occasion cards.
I made her two of each of these cards........
A Sympathy card ........
A Just For You card ........
A Birthday card ........
A Get Well card ........
And a Thinking of You card.
I made a special little pocket (from a small Crumb Cake envelope) and included a book of stamps.  Now all she needs to do is grab a card ....... jot a quick note and send it off to all those friends back in Tucson that I know she is going to miss.
So there you have it friends ........ A special little 3-D project that is fun to make and is the kind of gift that just keeps on giving.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP!! Monday - Fancy Broom

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added some additional product and a fiber technique that helped bring today's card up to that next stamping level.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today......
Here's the card I shared with you yesterday (on the left) and my Mix-It-UP! Monday version of that very same card (on the right).
Here's a closer look at my Mix-It-UP! Monday card for today.
As you can see from this pic ....... I stepped this card up by adding some fun Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine to one of the stamped brooms.
How simple was that!
I also upgraded the sentiment to be snipped out into a banner flag ....... and then I just added three 1" Bermuda Bay circles behind my sentiment.
And the final upgrade I made to this card was having it be a "Flip-UP/Flap-Card".  The stamped broom panel that I created actually flips up and you can write your special message under that panel.
So there you have it friends ........ My Mix-it-UP! Monday card for today.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a fun 3-D Tuesday project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot-Light Sunday Broom Card

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a wonderful new product card to share with you.  It's product that is featured in the new 2015 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  This Spotlight Sunday card is the perfect card to create when you are needing to make MANY of the same card ........ And want to get them made up in a hurry.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today.
This card uses the new "If the Broom Fits" stamp set.
I stamped my five brooms in Early Espresso and added some Bermuda Bay banner flags to the bottom edge.
Here are the three banner flags.  Each one has an Early Espresso Candy Dot in the center.
And I'm sure you are wondering why oh why would I use Bermuda Bay flags instead of some type of orange for this card.  Well my friends ........ I guess you will have to return tomorrow to see exactly why I decided on the Bermuda Bay flags.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 'Mix-It-UP! Monday' card with you ........ And reveal exactly why I used Bermuda Bay on this card.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
