April Stamp Camp Card #3

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have my Stamp Club gals coming over so I will be at a full run this morning getting things set-up and ready.  My card share today is the third card we made at Camp on Wednesday. ...... and this card was a HUGE HIT with all my Camp Gals.  Let me share that card with you......

This is a Double Swing Card that folds flat to mail.......

But when the card is opened.....It SWINGS open to reveal a special message on the inside of your card.  This card was inspired by my fellow SU demonstrator Tami White.....who shared on her blog on March 29th exactly how to create this card.  It was one of those projects that when I saw it.....I knew it would be something all my Camp gals would want to learn (THANKS TAMI!).
The hardest part of this card creation is understanding how to run your dies through your Big Shot.....but once you understand that technique......Your good to go!
Here's what the swing card looks like as you look down upon it.......
For those interested in learning how to make this card.......head over to Tami's blog (http://stampwithtami.com/blog/2013/03/open-sea/) and check out the AMAZING video that she made showing you exactly how to create this card.
We used the "Border on Romance" and "Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets for our front label panel.  We used Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade Ink along with our Aqua Painters to water color in our image.
Some of SU 2011-2013 In-Color DSP Pattern Stack along with a strip of Island Indigo that had been punched out using the Scallop Trim Border Punch helped to create our two decorative side panels.  Just love how pretty this card turned out and I personally will be sending this card off to someone SUPER SPECIAL this weekend.

Thanks for joining me today........Tomorrow I have the final card from my April Stamp Camp to share with you.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

April Stamp Camp Card #2

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the second card we made at Wednesday's Stamp Camp to share with you.  Here's the Sharing in Your Sorrow card we made.......

The base of this card used the new Pop 'n Cuts Card Base BigZ Die.  We cut our 4-1/4"x11" base card in Lucky Limeade and then oriented this card as a portrait style card.  (You had the option of either a portrait or landscape layout for this card.........I will show you the landscape layout at the end of this post.
We use the 2-1/2" Circle Punch to create our sentiment opening for this card.  Our sentiment was from the "Thoughts and Prayers" stamp set and we stamped it in Lucky Limeade ink.
A small strip of the Summer Smooches DSP was added to the bottom of our card and before we adhered it down to our base card.....we wrapped a small piece of Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon around one end of our DSP.
The twist to this card is the closure that was created by using the new Pop 'n Cuts Card Base die.
And as promised.......Here is what this card looked like when we change the orientation from Portrait to a Landscape card.  SUPER EASY CARD.......and one of those cards that can be created with ENDLESS color combination and UNLIMITED layout possibilities.

I'll be back tomorrow to share my third card from Wednesday's Stamp Camp......Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

April Stamp Camp Card #1

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
It's the third Thursday of the month (MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE MONTH!)......and that means I just finished up my Stamp Camp Event for April.  Over the next four days.....I will be sharing the four cards that we made at April Camp.  Let me first share with you a picture of all four cards......
Our theme for April was All Occasion Cards (with a TWIST)!  So each of the card had some special twist or fold design.  Let me share my first Twisted Fold Card with you.........

This card is all over the internet right now......My inspiration comes from Kelly Gettlefinger who shared this technique last fall.
We used the Layered Label "Congratulations" set and die cut it using the Apothecary Accent Framelits.  We matted our label onto a square of black cardstock and then punched out two 1" circle punches in black and adhered them right behind our black cardstock.  It honestly looks like our black matted frame was cut out to the shape of our Apothecary Accent diecut.......and all it took was adding a 1" black circle.
Here's what the card looks like when you open the front twisted flap of our card.
And here is a view of what our card looks like when it's opened up and a sweet little gift card is added to the inside pocket.
We used the First Edition DSP and Real Red Cardstock for each of the panel on our card.....And our base card is made with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
To create this card.......take your 4-1/4"x11" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and place it on your paper trimmer.  Using the SCORE BLADE......position your upper right hand corner and your bottom left hand corner into your trimmer and SCORE along the 11" side of your Very Vanilla cardstock.  FOLD OVER your scored line.......and then you will place the flat edge of your Very Vanilla cardstock against the bottom of your trimmer and using the SCORE BLADE - score your cardstock at the center point where your folds cross over each other. This will give you the twisted score line to complete your Twisted Fold Card.
The real magic of this card came together when before we adhered any of our pieces down.....We sponged all pieces with some Basic Black ink on a Stampin Sponge.  Totally gave our card an awesome look.

Thanks for joining me today......I'll be back tomorrow with the second card we made at my April Stamp Camp.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

This fun little card was made at our Spring Fling Event.......and it was a huge hit with all the ladies at our table.
We used the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper for our Framelits Dress Die.
We used a piece of Lucky Limeade cardstock for a little added something something to our dress.  A single Rhinestone was added along with the thick Vanilla Baker's Twin that came with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.
We cut down the heart paper doily that was in the Artisan Embellishment Kit......And we were able to create a pretty apron for our Calypso Coral dotted dress.  Our sentiment was stamped from the stamp set that comes with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.
Such a lovely little card that will make someone very special to SMILE BIG when they receive it.

Blooin' Marvelous Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be preparing for my Stamp camp session tomorrow..........So I've got LOTS of work cut out for me today.  That means.......I'm going to jump right in with my next Spring Fling card share.........

This pretty card used the new Tea for Two Designer Series Paper that is in the Spring Catalog.
We cut three different sized and widths and created double ended flags on each of them.  A real trick to getting the ends of your flags to be even each and every time........use your Paper Snips to cut into the ends of your DSP about 1/4" inch.  Then starting on the left side of your DSP....and point your Snips directly to the center point of your cut.  Do the same to the right hand side of your DSP and you should come out EVEN STEVEN with a PERFECT banner flag.
We also used a small piece of the Scalloped Lace that is in the Artisan Embellishment Kit along with one of the two resin flowers that comes with the kit.
Our sentiment was stamped in Lucky Limeade fro the SAB Bloomin Marvelous stamp set in the lower right hand corner of our card.  GORGEOUS CARD and this layout could be used for just about any occasion and is PERFECT for using up all those scrap pieces of DSP we have in our stash.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another card with you........Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Artisan Embellishment Love Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
What a great weekend I had.......Spent time with my girlfriends - chatted with my grandkids and even had time to get outside and get some SUN.   Now it's ALL HANDS ON DECK to finish my packets and prep work for Stamp Camp on Wednesday.  Let's jump right in to today's card share........

This beautiful card was created at the Spring Fling I attended and I have to say....It is one of my favorite card from that event.
We used Whisper White cardstock and it was embossed with Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and the Vintage Wallpaper Folder.  We used lots of dimensional adhesive to stack the two panels together and that helped to create lots of dimension to our card.
We used the Artisan Embellishment Kit to create our focal image on this card.  We used one of the designer tags that comes with this kit and wrapped a piece of the18" scalloped lace trim around our tag.
We added one of the "Love" designer ticket stubs directly over our lace trim and added one 5/8" Vanilla Flower Trim to the bottom portion of our tag.
This card turned out SO PRETTY and I have the perfect couple to send it to.  My daughter and her husband have an anniversary coming up soon.  Know my daughter will love receiving this card from me..

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with another Fling card......Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Pop-Up Posies Desgner Kit Card

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
It's Skype Sunday today and Hailey and I will be making some of the card packets that she's worked on the last couple of weeks....but hasn't gotten them finished.  I will be sending out a new package to her on Monday and that will have the next two card packets for Skype Sunday April 21st.
My share today is another Spring Fling card that we created at Di Gibbs event.  This is one of those bright and happy cards that honestly will make ANYONE SMILE BIG!

We used one of the new Soda Pop Tops for the center portion of our flower and the SAB Sycamore Street DSP was punched out with a 1" circle punch and placed into the center of our Soda Pop Topr card.
One the Embossed Paper Tags was used for our Calypso Coral Pop-Up Posies Flower to sit on.......
Next we stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and used our Bitty Banners Framelits to create our banner flag sentiment.   The final touch was punching out a Bitty Butterfly in Pool Party and added it to our embossed paper tag.
So there you have it.......A HAPPY thank you card that came together in no time flat.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another Spring Fling card with you............Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
