St Patty's Day Treat

Happy Sunday my Blogger Friends! Today is a day of rest (for me.....) I attended the Tucson convention yesterday and walked my legs off - Have to report in today that I'm feeling like a "Day in my Studio" kind of day coming on. What I do want to take time to share with you is the cute little St Patty's Day treats I gave to my dozen and a half SaddleBrooke Friends.....Here's a peek....... I used the new BigZ Petal Cone Die from SU to create this cute little baby. They came together so quickly that making 18 of them was done in a SNAP!

And here is a full view of this little baby. I joined two petal cone dies together and added two garden gree scallops to the curves - added a banner and stamped the St Patty's Day sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set to the banner. I used my Whimpsy Wishes SU wheel across the petal cone base and called it a day. I added Hersey Kisses (wrapped of course in some fun green paper) to the inside of the cone......threaded some ribbon to the top of the cone - so I had a way to hang these little treats from the mailboxes at my friends home. TOTALLY CUTE and SERIOUSLY FUN! Just know my friends enjoy the little surprise on St Patty's Day morning.

Stamp From Hawaii......

Happy Saturday Blogger Friends.......I'm heading down to the Tucson Convention this morning so have to make this QUICK. Today I would like to share a stamp that my BFF brought me back from her recent trip to Hawaii. The stamp is from RSF in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's an amazing stamp of a beach in Hawaii and the moon just resting over the water. Can you image how awesome this stamp would be on glossy cardstock and by adding blue, orange and sand ....... It seriously would create a beautiful beach scene of Hawaii.

Jan also included a small piece of mesh that does amazing backgrounds when used with chalks or ink and daubbers. It's a really fun piece of mesh that can be washed off and used over and over again to create some fun DSP or background images. Can't wait to try it out.

I treasure this gift from Jan and can now say......I have a little piece of Hawaii in my Arizona studio. Thanks BFF for bringing this stamp back to me.

Card From BFF

Happy Friday my blogger friend - Hope you have some fabulously FUN plans for the weekend. The Tucson RubberStamp/Crafters convention is this weekend and my BFF and I are heading to the Expo Center to check it out......I'll keep you posted to our FINDS. Today's card is from my BFF - who made this card for me last weekend when she returned from being gone over 6 weeks (note to Jan....Don't ever do that again.........). I would like to share this darlin card she made for me. This cute cute little girl is cute enough to EAT UP.......Here's a close-up of this cute little girl.

Jan also used some of the new yummy SU seam binding.......SO AMAZING and SO YUMMY!

This card just SCREAMS Jan.......and I love the vintage feel that the ribbon...little girl and charming DSP gave to Jan's card.

And don't you just love how Jan brought that vintage feel into the inside of her card....LOVE IT!

It's so good to have Jan back in SaddleBrooke and even though she's not leaving again until June......I'm already grieving her loss.

I'm off to prepare some goodie treats for the four gal friends that will be going down to the convention with Jan and me tomorrow.....so.....Have to fly. SW Stampers Swap cards Part 2

Happy St Patty's Day to all! Today will be part two of the cards I received from my fellow SW Stampers for the month of March.....But before I start......I want to do a Weight Watcher's Weigh In.......I'm down another 2.8 pounds....for a GRAND TOTAL (to date) of 22.5 pounds.....YAHHOO for me! Now......Let's get started with the cards from my fellow SW Stampers..... Here's an overview of the cards I received........ This first card is from Barb. She used Springtime Vintage DSP and Bold Blossum and So Happy for you stamp set. Just love everything about this card Barb.

Next up is the make n take we made.......love that we created our own DSP and were able to run that through the big shot. I just kept saying....I'm not into vintage...but this card totally has made a believer in me. LOVE THIS CARD!

Next is Sue's card. She showed us how to make this card - and it's folding your cardstock and running that through the crimper - HOW COOL IS THIS......hopefully I will remember where I put this card so I can use this technique for my holiday cards next year.

Here is the card Kathy shared with us. I fell in LOVE with this card the moment she put it in my hands. Kathy used the Create a Cupcake stamp set along with lots of product from SAB. This card will probably be in my next group of cards that I just have to CASE!

This little number was shared by Kendra. How lovely is this card......Using the Something to Celebrate stamp set and Subtles DSP makes this card one of those that I can see using for birthday cards for all ages.

And last (but CERTAINLY....NOT LEAST) was Sue's card. Have to say that after I received this card I was hooked on placing an order for all the SU sewing pieces that went into this card. LOVE the little button sampler that she stamped and put on this card......and HOW ADORABLE is that pin cushion? FABULOUS CARD Sue!

I am blessed to be surrounded by this wonderfully talented group of ladies......I love getting together with them to hear all the latest and greatest things that are happening....but....my all time favorite part of our get-together is our swap sharing time........You are all very talented ladies and Thank You for including me in your wonderful group!

Well...tomorrow is Friday and I'm looking forward to a full weekend in my studio - It's been too long since I just hung out and created and my hopes are that I can do that all weekend long. SO......Keep Living Your Dream......I WILL BE!

SW Stamper Swap Cards-March

Hi Stamper and Blogger Friends - Happy Wednesday to you! Today is part one of a two part series........Spot-lighting the SW Stamper cards I received in March. Let's get started.... Here's a picture of the first five cards I received.......

First up is the card I swapped......It is a 3x3 card and just screams FUN!

Next up is T's card.......She used glossy card stock for her image to be stamped on. She too made her card a 3x3 card.

This next card was made by Karen - She used a SAB set and SU Sunny Garden DSP.

This next card was made by Ginny. SAB DSP and stamp set was used on her card.

And last....but seriously not least is the card Kathy swapped with me. She popped dotted the butterfly and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the seam binding she used. LOVELY Kathy! Hope you enjoyed these cards - these ladies do a fabulous job with all the swaps they participate in and I'm always honored to receive their cards. SW Stampers Door Prize

Happy Tuesday Blogger Friends! Today I share with you a door prize I made for my SW Stampers group this month. Check out the cut 3x3 cards I made as part of my door prize. I used the Sale-A-Bration DSP for my cards and box holder.....

The container for this adorable box is the SU Bigz Box #2 die. I just joined the two boxes together and adhered them together.

I made 4-note cards for the card holder. Each card measures 3x3 and a single scallop circle and stamped flower fit perfectly on the front of each card.

Here's a close-up of all four colors.....Old Olive.....Pumpkin Pie.....Pacific Point and MY FAVORITE SU COLOR.....Melon Mambo.

And one last close-up of this little cutie. My door prize was won by Sue....and she loved my little stationary box. Needless to say......It found a new home and I will probably demo this at our April meeting.

Happy Birthday Jack.....

NO NOT MY JACK's Birthday..........My neighbor Jack. It was his birthday yesterday and thought since I shared with you Nancy's birthday card.......I would spin off and show you Jack's birthday card today. Here are both of their cards and candy treats together..... Here's Jack's candy all wrapped up and tied off with some fabulously yummy SU ribbon.

Just love how masculine this package of treats turned out.....and without going over board on sweetness (sorry for the pun). The little bit of Chantilly crochet trim which was added just added that little something something this candy package was needing.

Check out the hand cut candles and flames for the front of Jack's card......

Love everything about the look of this card.....which was CASE'd from Kristina Werner's blog at http://wwwkwernerdesigns.com/blog/ What is fabulous about Kristina's design is that you can switch the design up to be for male or female and would make a fun young or old card too.
