Valentine's Day Gift

(My post today was a gift and I can not verify any copyright or reproduction rights that might be attached to this gift.) On Valentine's Day, I received a hand deliveried gift from one of my SaddleBrooke Stamper Friends Gail. She came to my door early Valentine's morning with this adorable gift and I want to share with you today what that gift was........Check this out....... Gail made me this beautiful white heart and decorated the top and sides with some adorable heart ribbon. The card was super cute and went perfectly with the gift.
Here's a close-up of the decorated heart. It was done up so elegant that even Jack made a comment about how sepecial it was. I think his exact words were....WOW...that's sure nice!
And the lid pulled off to expose the best valentine's day treats know to man.......Check it out!
Gail tucked an elastic candy necklace and braclet along with a bunch of peppermint lifesavers into the center of the heart. HOW SWEET - I was just glad that my granddaughter wasn't here to see it....she would have squeald with happy at the site of the candy jewelry.
And here is one last close-up look at her cute cute card. Think I'm in love with the heart border punch....please tell me I can't just run down to Michael's and pick that baby up.........I'm thinking it's a MUST HAVE to my already growing border punch collection.
Thank You Gail for thinking of me and for making me such a lovely Valentine's gift. I honestly was so surprised......You made my Valentine's Day.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow.........I have two additional Valentine's cards/treats that two of my girlfriends made for me. Keep Living Your Dream!

One More Day of Valentine's Cards

Happy Tuesday my Blogger Friends. I just had to do one more Valentine's Day card post.....These last four cards just couldn't wait till next year to post. Let's get started...... Here's a group shot of the four cards I will be spot-lighting today.
This first card I received from a fellow SU demonstrator. The embossing is amazing on this card and the entire card is FULL of texture and WOW factor.
This next card was made by me.....It was inspired by my SaddleBrooke Stamper Inchies group. I had made the small "Love" squares across the bottom of my card as a months inchies and had several extra ones and made this card up. The embossed hearts carried the embossed heart design from the Inchies. Loved making this card.
Here's another card I received from a fellow SU demonstrator. Real Red cardstock and black cardstock make such an elegant pair. Love how fabulous this card looks.
And one last card I made using the same Inchie design from my SaddleBrooke Stampers Inchie Group. There is something about having so much Whisper White exposed on your card that brings a bit of elegants when Red and Black are added to it. Great Valentine's Day card for this one.
So that will wrap up Valentine's Day 2011........Thanks for letting me celebrate one more day with you...........I'm hoping to post some cards that I've received over the last month. I just know you are going to love what I've received. Hope you can return tomorrow.....Keep Living Your Dream!

Happy Valentine's Day To You!

It's a BIG BIG Happy Birthday to my grandson Jared. He is 12 years old today and is almost as tall as me......and just about as good looking as his Pop Pop. Love You Jared-Happy Birthday! This morning I was out lurking around in the weeeee hours of the morning with my flashlight and my GPS. I was delivering my Valentine's Day treats to my fellow SaddleBrooke Stamper friends. It's normally pretty easy getting around SaddleBrooke during the daylight hours.....HOWEVER......turn all the light out and that's a different story. You seriously need a GPS to find the streets around here.......Hence the need for my GPS and a flashlight. Here is what I made up for my friends this year........... I wove two hearts together to make these amazing Valentine's Day treats.........and each one held some super cute yummies in them.
Here's a closer look at the two hearts woven together to form a basket type heart treat. I was able to tuck a sucker wrapped up and a hershey kiss wrapped up in CS and the new SU chantilly lace.
Check out the treats inside the woven heart.
I also made these hearts up for each of my grandkids teachers and just stuffed them full of yummy yummy chocolate treats.
I'm hoping that each of you have an amazing Valentine's Day.....I would like to say that my Valentine's Day is going to be the best....but....My BFF is in Hawaii and I think that qualifies her to have received the ALL TIME DREAMIEST Valentine's gift in the world. Hope you are having an amazing Valentine's Day Jan and couting the days till you'll be home...........I MISS YOU!
Hope you can return back to visit tomorrow......I'm working on some special projects to share with you. Keep Living Your Dream!

More Valentine's Day Greetings

Hi Blogger Friends! I'm so happy your back. I realized yesterday that with my return many of you were wondering how my weight loss is going.....Hang on to your hats.........I'm into my fifth week and I've lost over 14-1/2 pounds.........HOLY BUCKETS......FOURTEEN and a half pounds! I almost flipped out when I got on the scale this past Wednesday.......I couldn't be happier with my results. LIFE IS GOOD! (and as Jack says.....Your looking good!) On to some Valentine's Day Cards. These are more cards that I received from my SW Stamper Demo Friends. We exchanged at a recent demo meeting and I just couldn't wait to share them with you. Here's a group shot of the four cards I exchanged. Several of the cards used product from the current Occasions Mini Catalog.
Isn't there something amazing about a Whisper White card? When you add some Real Red cardstock and ink - you have a look that is timeless. This sweet little card added some stamps from the Valentine's Defined set.
This little number is using the new Textured Impression Embossing Folder and it creates a real WOW looking card. The unique tulip design of the folder gives a deeply embossed focal point for the front of this card. JUST BEAUTIFUL!
This third card brings back the traditional Real Red and Whisper White Cardstock look that many of us made when we were small.....and we find ourself returning to even today. The very center of the scallop circle displays a FUN little heart punched out of the new Glimmer Paper found on Page 7 if the Occasions Mini Catalog.
And who doesn't LOVE Clean....Simple. These little 3"x3" little note cards can be added to a box of candy........a bunch of flowers or tucked into a little one's lunch box on Valentine's Day. LOVE IT!
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be up at the crack of dawn to deliver my special Valentine's Day treats to my SaddleBrooke friends tomorrow morning. I'll try to get a quick picture of the woven heart treats that I made for them and post it in the morning. Hope to see you tomorrow..........Keep Living Your Dream!

More Valentine's Greetings

Happy Saturday Blogger Friends! Hope your enjoying your Saturday and we are just counting down the days till Valentine's Day......we have two more days to go and both of those days I will be sharing yet more card creations with you. Let's get started. This picture includes one of the cards I posted yesterday....but two new card creations.
This card was made by one of my SW Stamper Demo Friend. It was given to me at our card swap last year and I'm just getting around to posting it this year. She used all SU product and the card is absolutely DARLING!
This card is yet another card given to me by one of my fellow SW Stamper Demo friends. I LOVE how elegant this card turned out. The presentation of this card is crisp and clean and even though the message of "Love" appears small......It speaks loud and clear to me. This card is also made using all SU product.
Hope you can return tomorrow for my Sunday reveal of Valentine's Day cards.....so until Sunday....Keep Living Your Dream!

I'm Coming Back........

Hi Blogger Friends! MANY THANKS to those of you who have contacted me and inquired what was going on with my blog. I'm so touched that I have connected to SO MANY of you - I had NO IDEA that so many of you were out there looking. THANK YOU! I have had SEVERAL ISSUES come up in the last month.....Some of thoe issues were caused by me getting ill and some were caused by individuals who are mean-spirited and unhappy and yet other issues were down right a SURPRISE! For today......I'm getting my ducks back in a row and moving forward. Things will never be the same......but often times when we have an opportunity to reflect.......we realize....Change is a "Good Thing". So today I will be sharing some Valentine's creations with you. I have to say Valentine's Day is one holiday I find GREAT JOY in.....probably because it's the day my grandson was born and also.........because it's meant for those in LOVE. And seriously......You don't get any more in LOVE than Jack and Kadie. Hope your Valentine's Day is extra special this year and brings you all the JOY you deserve to have. These are cards that I creations last year....I used some lots of retired SU DSP and dreamy stamps to create these two Valentine Day cards.
I used my SU heart punch to punch out a heart and then insert another heart behind it to make it pop. LOVE LOVE LOVE the lacey border punch that I used to create a ribbon look running through the center of my card. And one of my all time favorite ribbons is the SU dotted melon mambo.
This sweet little number is using the SU scallop envelope Bigz die.......and I tucked a sweet little "Love you much" note inside the envelope on the front of the card. I'll be back tomorrow to continue my count down to Valentine's Day.....I have several more cards to share with you - Hope you can come back to visit. Until tomorrow.......Keep Living Your Dream!

Birthday Cards 2011 (Part Two)

Happy Thursday Blogger Friends and Thanks for joining me today. Today I'll be sharing the final five cards I will be using for my family and friends birthday in 2011....Hope you get some ideas and enjoy your stop...... First up is a delightful little card that can be jazzed up with no limit. Change up your colors and you have a card made for that someone special on your birthday card giving list. This honestly is one of my favorite "GO TO CARDS". I use it often when I want to create a card for someone I know has favorite colors.........
This picture didn't turn out to good - but the card front flap (where the birthday hats are) will fold down and the flap behind it will lift up and the inside of the card has a small piece of white cardstocked in the center so I have a place to write my birthday message. I have made this card in many colors and have never made one that wasn't prettier than the next......
Speaking of PRETTY.....This little card was inspired (okay TOTALLY CASE'd) from my SU demo friend Mary (http://stampinpretty.blogspot.com). Mary passed these cards out as her SW Stampers card swaps and I knew I would be making these for my 2011 birthday card. THANKS MARY for your amazing creation.......I LOVE IT!
Sorry for the HORRIBLE lighting issues with this card....trust me......This card is darlin! I watched Christina from "Make A Card Monday" design this card MANY MONTHS ago and wanted to include this in my 2011 birthday cards. The design is fun and jazzy and have to say the only time consuming part is embossing the "Happy Birthday" message. The rest of the card just FLEW together and I had SO MUCH FUN making these cards.
And last....but certainly not least is one of my oldest birthday cards I make. It's a card that I've been making since we lived in Wisconsin. It's a card I love to make when I'm feeling I haven't had enough time in my studio stamping.......I grab out my inks (you can make these in a rainbow of colors) and stamp four candles in the lower section of my card.........add a flame to each of the candles and make a large oval "happy birthday" message above the candles. Top it all off with a coordinating ribbon and WOW......I have not only created a fun birthday card.....But.....I've fed my need to stamp. LOVE IT!
So there you have it.......my birthday cards for 2011 and the process on how I stay organized and on top of all the birthdays I celebrate during the year. Thanks for stopping by and hope you can return for more Kards by Kadie creations. Keep Living Your Dream!
