Gift from Dawn

Happy Saturday.......YAHOOOOO.....It's the weekend. Hope you are making it a great day! Last weekend, I spent the entire weekend with my Wisconsin gal pals at a lovely retreat out in Mt Horeb, Wisconsin. There ended up being 15 of us who got together and scrapped.......ate......laughed......ate some more........watch movies.......drank........and all around had a BALL. Several of the gal pals bought gifts for us and today I want to share the gift that Dawn made for each of us........ Dawn made this amazing picture frame that she hand stitched and paper pieced this christmas tree along with.............
This really fun JOY stitching in the center of what could honestly have been a christmas card. Dawn put so much work into making these gifts for us..........then she topped it off by framing her creation. I've got mine proudly displayed in my studio.
Here is a close-up of Dawn's creations........LOVELY Dawn.....simply LOVELY.
I know first hand how much time and energy goes into making gifts for 15-ladies and I appreciate all the hard work that Dawn put into creating these for us. I also want to let Dawn know that I've been thinking of both her and her sister (who happen to have taken a fall and broke both her knees and ended up in the hospital over the weekend). I'm hoping that her sister is home and rehabing now. Just so you know Dawn......I'm sending good energy your sisters way.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow......I'm going to be sharing a little something something that my scrappin friend Kaila made for me last weekend. I guarantee you......You are going to FLIP OUT when you seen what she made. Until tomorrow......Keep Living Your Dream!

Gift from Linda

Happy Friday Stamper Friends! I'm SO looking forward to the weekend and spending some time with my honey.........I've been gone for the last two weeks and really have missed my time with Jack. Hope you have some FUN things planned for your weekend. Today I want to share a gift I received from one of my SaddleBrooke Stamper Friends.....Linda. She dropped off at my mailbox this fun little paper cone - which honestly made me squeal with happiness.......
Here's a pretty blurried picture of the inside of the treat holder......she filled it full with some yummy candy (kit kat bar and jelly-beans).
And one last shot of the treat holder.........I was so happy to have received this gift from Linda. She does some amazing work and all her creations are done to perfection and I was honored to have received this gift from her.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow......I'm going to share some gifts that my Wisconsin scrapbooking friends made for me at our retreat last weekend. Until tomorrow......Keep Living Your Dream!

Christmas 2010

As promised..........here is what the Fisher-Labadie household looks like this time of year. LOVE LOVE LOVE how we have the tree set-up this year. We put it closer to the front door - and that allows it to been seen from the front of the house.....and.....all I need to do is turn around when I'm in my studio......and I can see it. LOVE IT!
Here's our tree and many of the decorations we have displayed. This is what it looks like when you walk in the front door.
The loveseat table that has many of the kids treasures displayed on and around it.
And this who idea came from Jack......he thought I should hang all the grandkids stockings across this area - which honestly was a FABULOUS idea. We have one stocking for each of the grandkids hung from a hook - that will stay there till next year and I'll be able to repeat this whole look next year without having to hammer more holes.
Thanks for letting me share a bit of Christmas Arizona style with you. Hope to be back to posting some of my card creations with you soon. Tomorrow I want to share with you some of the Christmas cards I've been receiving from my stamping friends.
Until tomorrow.......KEEP LIVING YOUR DREAM!

I'm Back

I'm back from my Christmas vacation in BEAUTIFUL Madison, Wisconsin......and......this is what I wished for from my grandson.......... They had a MAJOR snow storm the weekend before I left............Freezing ice.......TONS of snow.....and LOTS OF COLD temperature. (won't even believe that I'm sitting here typing this at 60 degree weather and Madison has a temperature of -6 degrees this morning......)
Have to admit that it was beautiful.....well......at 5am when I shot these pictures - it was beautiful. The truth from that moment forward.......I needed to drive in these conditions .... and then it didn't seem so beautiful. Here's a shot of the snow FALLING AND FALLING at 5am............(all I have left to say is......)
This is what I was greeted by at 5:30pm last night........WELCOME HOME! Temperatures a lovely 73 degrees............
Guess my travels back to Wisconsin will be in the Spring and the Fall from here on out. Had a fabulous time - but missed SO MUCH because I was pretty crippled up from PAIN.
Hope you are pretty much prepared for the upcoming holidays in the next week......shopping is all done and hope to share with you tomorrow the decorations that have been set-up in our house.
GLAD to be back and until tomorrow.....KEEP LIVING YOUR DREAM!

Special Tree From Debbie

Happy Saturday to you.....Today we have scheduled the Annual Gingerbread Houses at the Sewell Household. We have four gingerbread houses and so many yummy treats to decorate our houses with. It promises to be a yummy day for all. I would like to share a quick post that my friend Debbie Hill made for me. I just about FLIPPED OUT when she rang my door bell Tuesday afternoon and handed me this super cute Santa Hersehey Nugget holder. The Santa tag is SO SUPER CUTE......the white (Fur) that is on the top of Santa's hat.....Is 3D and Santa's belt is full of Glitter. I just fell in love with the Santa tag and then really squealed when I saw what the packaging was........
Debbie stacked 8-Hershey Nuggets together (only after wrapping each nugget with some adorable holiday paper) and slide them into this fabulous package.
Here's another view of the nuggets all stacked up and just waiting for me to dig into them (which of course I won't be doing..........I will be adding them to the top of my studio cabinet......along with the other treats that many of my friends have made for me).
And one final look at the nuggets all stacked up and decorated with the FUN Holiday paper that Debbie picked out.
Many THANKS go out to my SUPER TALENTED Stampin Friend Debbie. For someone who has just begun stampin.....she has found her place in the SaddleBrooke Stampers group. I would say that Debbie is one talented Stamper.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow....I have more Kards by Kadie creations to share with you.....Until tomorrow.....Keep living Your Dream!

Thanksgiving Blessing Box

Happy Friday to you - I made it to Wisconsin last night and I'm spending the morning with my three grandkids in DeForest....getting them off to school. Mom left early this morning and left me in charge of getting all three kids out the door and to the bus stop (before the bus arrives). This is totally what being a grandma is all about......LOVE IT! SO....going to share a quick post this morning of the finished blessing boxes that I gave to my SaddleBrooke friends last Thursday.........here is the Turkey that I made to go into each of the boxes..... The Turkey was adhered to the base of a pencil to add that little something something to my Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes.
Here's a couple pictures of what the blessing boxes looked like when they were all stuffed and ready to be hung from the mailboxes of my Saddebrooke Friends.
Hope you enjoyed my Blessing Boxes....they were really fun to make and everyone who received one was really thrilled to have seen this on their Saddlebrooke mailing tube on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Have a million errands to finish running today............tomorrow we are all getting together and building our gingerbread houses..........Five Kids..........Three Parents and a NaNa......should result in a SUPER GOOD TIME! Keep Living Your Dream!

This is Where I'm Heading

Today I will be heading back to Madison Wisconsin to spend two weeks with my grandkids. I wasn't able to spend Christmas last year with my girls.....so.....Jack said to me.....Book the flight and GO.........SO....TODAY I LEAVE. These pictures are of my grandkids in September (when we were back visiting). I took the kids to Little America and spent the day riding Roller Coasters......Screaming Eagles........Ferris Wheels and Go Karts.
You can tell by the looks on their faces that they had a BLAST and enjoyed every single minute of our day at the Park.
I can't even begin to tell you how many times they road the Roller Coaster......Don't they look like they are having SO MUCH FUN!
Here's Steven (left) with his Big Brother Jared (right) enjoying one more pass on the Roller Coaster. They got lucky and had the best operator for this Roller Coaster and he let them ride two or three more passes than the normal ride........they kept giving the operator the HIGH FIVE for not making them get off......
And here is where Jared talked Steven into raising his arms over his head to get the true experience of the Roller Coaster ride. THIS IS THE VERY REASON I AM AIRBORNE RIGHT NOW TO THEIR HOUSE.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow as I have several post ready to be posted while I'm away. Thanks for stopping by today and Keep Living Your Dream!
