A Card Sketch Book

Happy Saturday to you! Don't you just LOVE weekends. I especially LOVE Saturday mornings. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend and you are able to spend LOTS of time creating and crafting. Now....On with today's project. Today I'm sharing a FUN book I made from an old notebook I had from my last job.....I covered the entire book with some retired SU paper and I used chipboard pieces to spell out "Cards". I covered the inside of the notebook and even used my DSP to decorate the page dividers:
Here's another close-up of the front of the book.....and I have to say.....I LOVE how this little book turned out.
I'm going to store my card sketches in this book. I have tons of card sketches and I'm SO THRILLED that I finally have a cute book to store them in.
Hope to see you tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

Card Verse Book

HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU.......Today I'm sharing with you a FUN Bo-Bunny Book I finished up. It's taken me a LONG time to get this project completed - so I totally feel a sense of "WOW.....I DID IT" behind this projects. I originally made this book to be a scrapbook, but after completing the book, I realized that it would be the PERFECT book to store all my verses for my cards.
There are a total of six tabs and I will use them for Birthday's.....Get Well.....
Sympathy and Friendship.........
Thinking of You and Kids.
I have many verses and sayings for the inside of the cards I make - So....this will be the perfect book to store all of those.
Hope you are planning to do something really FUN for the upcoming weekend. I have plenty on my calendar for this weekend and a major portion of that will be PLAY TIME in my studio.
Stop back tomorrow and I'll share yet another Kard by Kadie creation. Keep Living Your Dream!

Tall Purse Tote

Today I want to share with you a couple Tall Purse Totes that I made for two of my SaddleBrooke Stamping Buddies. I wanted to surprise a couple of my friends with a little something to let them know how special they are to me.
So I made these Tall Purse Totes and added some birthday cards to the inside of the totes and hand deliveried them to my two girlfriends mailboxes. I'm thinking they will LOVE the surprise and who wouldn't just LOVE heading out to their mailbox and see this FUN SURPRISE.
Please stop back tomorrow and I'll share yet another Kards by Kadie creation. Keep Living Your Dream!

Happy Birthday Steven

Today is my youngest grandson's birthday....Happy Birthday Steven. While we were in Madison last month, I got to take my grandkids to an amusement park for the day - and GUESS what Steven wanted to do? Ride the train. Not once.....not twice....but three times. Here he is with his mom...... The train ride was a twenty minute ride around the entire amusement park. I got to ride the train twice with Steven and the last time, he took his mom with him. Here's a picture of him with the engineer........
The three train rides totally made Steven's day and I have to say it was pretty special for me too. Happy Happy Birthday Steven!
Stop back tomorrow when I will get back on track (oh.....sorry about that....just had to say that) and share a fun train card that I made for Steven. Until tomorrow.....Keep Living Your Dream!

Big Shot & Fabric

Long Time No Hear From.....It's me......Kadie! I'm back from our almost 6-week vacation and I had a BLAST. We traveled almost 6000 miles and saw not only some amazing sites - BUT - some amazing family and friends. A big SHOUT OUT to Jan and Nick for letting us stay with them in Colorado.....Jerry and MaryAnn for the GREAT TIME we had in Indiana......John and Sue for opening their BEAUTIFUL new home in Crossville, TN.......Paul and Barb for the AMAZING homemade dinner (after eating out for all those weeks-It was like HEAVEN having dinner with you). My two amazing daughters for all the FUN TIMES we had while in Madison, Wisconsin and my son Michael in St Louis for showing us GOOD TIMES. I'm going to try to get back to Madison in December for a retreat my scrapbooking friends are putting together - so......For those of you I missed while I was in Madison-Give me a yell and I will try to connect with you in December. Now.....ON WITH A PROJECT. I have been watching all my blogging friends make some pretty amazing things with their big shots and fabric - so.....I had to give it a try.......Isn't this fabric just the yummiest? I cut out enough fabric to make a tote with the orange fabric......Not sure when I'll ever get it done........
BUT......I did get the PINK fabric cut out and assemblied. I'm using the completed project to store my SU clear blocks and stamp cleaning.
Here's a close up of the finished project......I think it turned out too stinkin cute.
Hope you can stop back tomorrow as I'm back to my old schedule and will be having daily post from here on out. Missed you all and as always......KEEP LIVING YOUR DREAM!
