Winter Woods Alternate Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Well my friends ....... Does my family know how to MAKE MEMORIES!!!  Here's just a few pictures of some of the FUN we had yesterday down on State Street and afterwards at dinner.
We started out our day by heading down to State Street and having lunch at Qudoba.  OH YUM!!!

Next......We took a stroll down to RagStock and picked up some Ugly Sweaters and stuff for the family!!!

Then we were heading to the Escape Room Walking Tour to solve a fun Madison Mystery!  Each stop brought us to a another clue.......And we had one hour to complete all the stops and solve the mystery.

Our team of 3-Mom's and a Son SOLVED THE MADISON MYSTERY in less than one hour.

And here we are doing a victory lap outside the front door.

We then headed down to Rocky's Rocco Pizza and consumed 2-Large Rocky Pizza Pies in no time flat.

Today is our Annual Gingerbread House Party at my daughter's White House in Oregon, Wisconsin.  Our family has been hosting this event for the last 18 years (since Jared was almost 3-years old).......And I'm happy to say......All 5-grandkids (even Jared who is almost 21 years old) will be attending this event again this year.  Hailey and Brooke have decorated the White House.......and set each guest up with their own gingerbread house and all the yummy candies to get them decorated.  We also have all the grand kid decorate a couple dozen cookies each and those they will be taking home with them tonight.  So, our Annual Gingerbread House Party is always ONE GIANT SUGAR FESTIVAL and by dinner time......all the kids will CRASH & BURN from the sugar buzz!!!  After dinner.........The adults take over the kitchen and start playing cards and board games.......And oh yeah......the pouring of the cocktails continues.  I'll try and share some pictures of the fun tomorrow.

My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And I would like to share with you the project I created using the Winter Woods October Paper Pumpkin kit.   Here's that project.......

Here's my final alternate card creation with the October Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin kit.

Talk about quick and easy.  This card was knocked out of the park in no time flat.  I stamped the sentiment in the lower right hand corner of my Whisper White base card.....

Then I created a fun snowflake panel with the snowflake stamp that came with this kit and some Night of Navy ink.

After I had the snowflakes stamped......I matted it to a panel of Night of Navy card stock.

All that was left to do was add three 2" Night of Navy circle peeking out of that panel......And this card was called done in no time flat!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Today we have some traditional Black Friday events planned with the Family.  We all meet up on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin to do lunch and get some shopping done.  We have lunch at Noodles ...... And Team Mom's & 1-Son which will be Myself, Jenni, Cheryl and Jared).  We will be given a 'Love Letter' to solve and tour lots of business on State Street to solve the mystery.  Talk about making memories with the Family.  I'll make sure I post some pictures of all this crazy tomorrow.  After our Escape Tour ........ we will all be meeting up at Rocky Rocco's Pizza Place for dinner.  Then it will be back to the White House in Oregon, Wisconsin to have cocktails and play board games.  FABULOUS way to spend Black Friday.

Happy Turkey Day my blogger friends.  Today, I am celebrating Thanksgiving with my kids in Wisconsin.  I can hardly wait for the spread that my VERY TALENTED daughters will be putting out for us.  They will be making their OVER THE TOP Relish Tray ...... turkey, stuffing, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole along with homemade pumpkin and apple pie.  I told you they are UBER TALENTED!!!  Our fun does not stop with the dinner ....... Along with LOTS of games and COCKTAILS!!!  And there is the preparation that we take in charting out our plan of attack for Black Friday.  Dare I say ....... there will be PLENTY of GOOD TIMES AND MEMORIES happening in Oregon, Wisconsin today.

My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY TAG.  Now that you have the details for my Tag Thursday creation for this week ........ Let's jump right in with my tag share for today........

How pretty is this Happy Thanksgiving Tag!!!!

I started out with a Crumb Cake tag base ....... and used the 'Gathered Leaves' dies to crop out two pretty leaves from the 'Come To Gather Designer Series Paper'.

I stamped my sentiment directly onto both die cut pieces.  I used VersaMark ink and 'Black Embossing Powder' to really help my sentiment POP!!!

I topped my tag off with some 'Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack'.....

And this tag was done in a SUPER FAST JIFFY!!!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Turkey Fun Fold Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Well yesterday was a SUPER FUN DAY!!!  I took off early in the morning to head out to Middleton to have my FAVORITE Wisconsin hairdresser perm my hair.  Do you think it's curly enough?????

After I had my hair permed ...... I meet up with Jenni and we had a quick lunch at Noodles.  (Don't you just LOVE the t-shirt that I gave to Jenni!!!!)

And I even left behind one of my countdown/random acts of kindness cards for the server.  (I've been handing out at least one of these each day during the week of Thanksgiving.)

We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping for the Gingerbread House Party things ...... And Jenni helped to pass the afternoon with several HILARIOUS video's (that can be seen over on my facebook page.  https://www.facebook.com/kadie.labadie)

And I spent the evening with several of my City Employee friends.
Thanks friends for the FUN dinner.

Today ....... We plan to do some last minute Thanksgiving Day shopping.......And I also have plans to meet up with JoAnn for lunch.  The countdown has begun for the Thanksgiving festivities.  LOVE IT when I get to spend time with my kids and grandkids.

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

Happy early Turkey Day tomorrow my friends.

This fun fold card starts out with a 4-1/4" x 10-1/2" piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock.  You score at 5"....And the lever flap over piece is a 1" x 7" piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock that is scored at 4-1/4".
My turkey was stamped from the 'Birds of a Feather' set.  And to create some FUN attitude to my Tom Turkey.......I used my Stampin' Blends to color him in.

The lever flap for this card is created with some 'Layering Circle Dies'....

And the scallop dies helped to add some sassy fun to that piece.

Here is what my card looks like when the lever flap is opened up completely.

So there you have it friends........
I'm back in Wisconsin spending Thanksgiving with my kids ...... Hope you will be enjoying some AMAZING Thanksgiving traditions with your own family tomorrow.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tag Thursday creation to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
