Tag Thursday - Eat Cake

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY GIFT TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
This tag was created with several Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog items.....
I used the 'Big on Birthdays' stamp set to create my Pacific Point banner flag......
And I used the 'Party Animal Designer Series Paper' to add a panel of birthday candles across the center of my tag.  To the top of that panel I added a scallop circle that was embossed with the 'Sparkle' Embossing Folder and topped it off with a Crushed Curry heart that was die-cut from the 'Sweet & Sassy Framelits' collection.
Topping my tag off, I used some of the new 'Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon' and added two of the 'Party Animal Embellishments' to my ribbon.
And that was it my friends......
A darling tag that will surely make anyone smile!!!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday-Good Friend Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Well......SUPER SAD DAY for me........My daughter left early this morning to go back home to Wisconsin.  Here we are at Bach's Nursery yesterday getting some cactus plants for our patio and for Cheryl to take home......
Here are the beautiful cactus arrangements we walked into when we stepped into the Bach's Nursery Show Room.
They have some of the most beautiful cactus gardens in the Tucson area.
And here is Cheryl with the cactus that she picked out......
And Bach's Nursery did an amazing job of packaging it up for her ........ So she could take it on the plane with her this morning.
And here are Cheryl and Jack as they enjoyed a final breakfast at Sunnyside Up Café.

NOW........As one adventure ends........Another begins.  I'll be heading out on Friday for my three day Scissors and the City Retreat.  Looking forward to spending the weekend with my Mesa/Gilbert girlfriends.  (THREE FULL DAYS of scrapbooking and fun!!!!)

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
This happy card will make any friend sit up and take notice.
I began by running the front panel of my Melon Mambo card through the Big Shot using the 'Petal Burst' embossing folder.
My sentiment was stamped from the 'Special Reason' set.  I used Melon Mambo ink to stamp my sentiment and then grabbed my Paper Snips to create a banner flag at one end of my sentiment piece.
For my focal point......I die-cut one of the flowers from the 'Stylish Stems Framelits Dies' onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  All I needed to do was add a piece of Melon Mambo DSP to the backside of the Whisper White die-cut panel.
At the bottom of my die-cut panel......I wrapped a piece of Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine around that panel and tied it up into a pretty bow.
And that's all it took to bring this pretty card together.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tag Thursday creation to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3D Tuesday - Saddle-UP! Gifts

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Well yesterday was one of those 'BUCKET LIST' kind of days.  Cheryl and I went on an hour and a half Segway Tour of Scottsdale.  WHAT A BLAST!!!
Here we are as we arrived at the Segway Station and we were being assigned our Segway.
We were super excited to get our helmets on and get started.....
And I have to say that Cheryl was a PRO right out of the gates.
Here we are as we are almost finished with our tour.......

And Cheryl was able to get these two shots of me......

My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER FUN to create and the product is featured in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and 2017 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
These are the thank you gifts I made for each of the new guests who attended my Saddle-UP! event last weekend.
I made six sets of these for the new guest and also for the person who brought them.
I made a Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum version.....
Also a Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach version......
A Emerald Envy version.....
A Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo version....
And the last group was a Dapper Denim version.
Each set was modeled after Brenda Q's (BeeHive) blog post.
The pocket was a piece of Designer Series Paper that is made into an envelope and then attached to a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of coordinating cardstock.
There were three notecards created with the 'Lift Me Up' stamp set and coordinating 'Up & Away Thinlits Dies'.
I also made sure that each of the envelopes had the hot air balloons stamped on the front ....... In the same ink color as the cards and holder.
So there you have it friends.......A special grouping of thank you gifts for all my new Saddle-UP! guest.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday Upgraded B-day Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Well Cheryl and I made it up to Phoenix yesterday morning and while she was visiting her Dad.
I headed over to the Scrapbook Store and worked on my On-Stage swap cards for San Diego.
We checked into our hotel and the front desk guest services take us over to the Keg Steakhouse.
We had some FABULOUS appetizers and the most WONDERFUL dinner........
And we enjoyed some SUPER DELISH Wine
and OVER THE TOP desserts.
We then went back to the hotel to enjoy some R&R and laughter.

We will be heading out early this morning to go on our Segway Tour (I do promise pictures of all that fun)......and then we have a SERIOUS MOTHER/DAUGHTER SHOPPING DAY planned out for us.

Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but to bring this card up to the next stamping level ....... I added a couple extra layers of product.  All the product used on this card can be found in both the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and the 2017 Occasions Catalog.

Here is yesterday's Spot Light Sunday card on the TOP......
And today's Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the BOTTOM......
For today's card I kept the orientation the same......
But I added an additional layer of DSP to my card.
I added the DSP dot pattern to my card and really gave my card some additional balance.
My sentiment was stamped with the same 'Oh So Succulent' stamp set......
And for my flower.....I added one additional layer of the 'Succulent Framelits Dies'.
My Whisper White panel was added to a Dapper Denim card base a...........And one final touch to my upgraded card was using my 'Simply Scored Scoring Tool'.  And I added a single embossed line around the outer edge my Whisper White panel.
So there you have it friends.......
Two equally beautiful cards.......
That are PERFECT for that SPECIAL person in your life.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
