3D Tuesday Tasty Trucks

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is......
22 days and counting!!!!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project was SO MUCH FUN to create and the product is featured in the 2017 Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
How fun are these two little 'Tasty Truck' treats!
The idea was shared by Stampin' UP! in the 2017 Sale-a-Bration Catalog and the moment I saw the sample ....... I knew I would be making one (or two) of these.
Here's what the back of my trucks look like.
Each truck uses the 'Tasty Trucks' Sale-a-Bration set that is FREE with a qualifying Sale-a-Bration order.
I created an insert for each of my trucks ....... and that was done by using a 2-1/4" x 5" piece of cardstock and scoring it on the 2-1/4" side at 1/2" and 1-3/4"........
And on the 5" side....I scored it at 1-1/2" and 3-1/2".  All that I needed to do was create the box and then attach the front and back side of each truck to that box.
I am just crazy about the way the pink truck turned out.....
And I think the blue truck is darling too.
How FUN would these make for a baby shower party favor.......
And stamp 'SPECIAL DELIVERY' in the window.
I filled my trucks with mini M&M candies........and think they just couldn't be any more fun to make or to give away.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday Upgraded SAB Paper

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is......
23 days and counting!!!!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but I added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is my Spot Light Sunday on the LEFT.......
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT......
So for my Mix-It-UP! Monday card ....... I stepped my card up with additional layers and some pretty embossing to the sentiment.
I used my Black Embossing Powder to add a real WOW FACTOR to my sentiment.
And my ribbon received an upgrade too.  I used the same Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine but before I tied it up into a pretty bow.......I added the smallest piece of 5/8" Mini Striped Watermelon Wonder Ribbon.  And I have to say that I think that little touch of ribbon added a pretty look to my card.
I did the same coloring technique to my Sale-a-Bration Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper......
And I added a thin layer of shine to the bee by coating it with some Fine Tip Glue.
The only other upgrade I made to my card was adding some Basic Black cardstock panels ...... And that just gave my card the POP I was looking for.
So there you have it friends.........
Do you have a favorite?????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot Light Sunday - SAB Paper

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is......
24 days and counting!!!!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and both the 2017 Stampin' UP! Sale-a-Bration and Occasions Catalog.  This card uses several new products from each of those catalogs ........ So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........
This card features the Sale-a-Bration 'Inside the Lines' Designer Series Paper.
All I needed to do was grab my Flirty Flamingo ink and my Watermelon Wonder Stampin' Write Marker and I used my 'Aqua Painter' to blend in each of those colors.
And to create the two tones of green ..... I used my Pear Pizzazz ink and Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker and just blended those two colors together with my Aqua Painter.
My sentiment is from the 'Sending Thoughts' set in the Occasions catalog....
And I wrapped some 'Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine' around the center of my Flirty Flamingo panel and tied it up in a pretty bow.
This made a beautiful sympathy card - which I was needing.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Paper Pumpkin Saturday - Friend

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is......
25 days and counting!!!!
My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have a SERIOUSLY FUN CARD to share with you!  This is a card I created with the January Paper Pumpkin kit.  I added some extra cardstock and a stamped image to create this card ........ And I'm just thrilled with the way it turned out.  Let me share that card with you now.
How's this card for telling a friend how SPECIAL they are to you!
I used the gold arrow tails to create the zig zag pattern across the top and bottom portion of my card.
And I stamped my friends sentiment with the stamp set that came with the January kit.......And then used the 'Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies' to create a pretty layered heart sentiment piece.
I used one of the large scallop 'Layering Circles Dies' and die-cut it out with the Gold Foil Sheets.  All that was left to do was add one of the 'Lace Doilies' from the Occasions Catalog on top of the scallop gold circle and added my layering hearts sentiment to the top of that piece.
A DARLING CARD that is going to surprise one my dear friend!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

And if Lynn doesn't SPOIL ME ENOUGH ....... Look at all these delightful treats she sent me before Christmas.  OH MY!!!!!
This ADORABLE holiday bell and chocolates is from my special Madison, Wisconsin friend Sandra.
The chocolates were tucked up inside the center of the bell ornament that Sandra created.
