Life Is Better With Friends

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and 2017 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  This card uses several new products from each of those catalogs ........ So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........
This card is dedicated to all my friends who are cat lovers.....
And you seriously know who you are......
I started out by using my Simply Score Board ........ and I embossed a 1/4" line around the outer edges of three sides of my Whisper White base card.  By embossing this single 1/4" line around the outer edge of my card ....... It created an instant frame for me to work with.
Next I grabbed the 'Just Add Text' set and stamped my "OH SO TRUE" sentiment with Basic Black ink directly onto the center of my Whisper White base card.
All that was left to do was add a panel of Real Red cardstock to the bottom of my card......
And add two Basic Black cats from the new 'Cat Punch' directly onto that Real Red panel.
I ask you ........ How perfect is this card!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Watermelon Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have a FUN CARD to share with you!  This is an alternative card project made with the June Paper Pumpkin kit.  I added some extra cardstock and the outcome of this card is one of those HAPPY HAPPY kind of cards.  Let me share that card with you now.
Wouldn't receiving this card just make you SMILE BIG!
I started out by embossing a panel of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the new 'Polka Dot Basics' Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I used the stamp set included in this set to stamp my watermelon image onto some Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out with the 2" circle punch.  I then matted it with a Melon Mambo 'Layering Scallop Circle' ...... and that just made my watermelon POP off my card.
And the finishing touch was adding some Melon Mambo Baker's Twine (also include in the kit) around the center of my card and creating a pretty bow over the watermelon piece.
So there you have it friends ........ The perfect little "it's your day" card that will surely make someone SMILE BIG when they receive it.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

August Customer Thank You Tags

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY THANK YOU TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.......
My Stamp Camp for August was Christmas AFTER July.  Normally demonstrators host Christmas in July classes ........ But because I didn't host a camp in July (recovering from my knee replacement) ........ I wanted to give my camp gals the opportunity to make some Christmas in July cards in AUGUST.
This tag was designed to flip open ...... And that allowed me to write a special little thank you message to each of my customers.  (It also could be designed to stamp a TO/FROM on the inside and use it as a gift tag.)  The tags measure 6" x 2-1/4" ....... I scored the tag at 3" and then cut off 3/4" from one side of the tag and this created the flap.   I then used my Paper Snips to clip the tag shape at the top of my tag ........ and then I punched a hole in the top of my tag so my Baker's Twine could be looped through.
I began this tag by stamping the thank you sentiment from the 'Baby Bear' set onto the bottom section of my tag.  I used Black Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder to give my sentiment a shiny finish.
I also stamped the reindeer from the 'Cookie Cutter Christmas' set with the same Black Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder ........ And that just POPPED my reindeer off my tag.  A 1/2" Real Red circle was added for the reindeer's nose........And then I came in with my 'Two Way Glue Pen' and put lots of SHINE on his little nose.
I used the new 'Ticket Tear Border Punch' and a small piece of Real Red cardstock to create a pretty edge to the front panel of my tag.
The Black Baker's Twine was just added to the top of my tag .......
And this tag was DONE in NO time FLAT!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday Friend

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
The hardest part of creating this card.......
Is which friend do I send it to!
I started out by using the 'Lovely Inside and Out' set for my FRIEND sentiment.  I stamped that sentiment with Berry Burst ink.
Next I grabbed a 'D' Clear Block and dabbed my clear block directly into my Powder Pink ink pad.  Then I spritzed the inked block with some water and stamped it down onto my Whisper White panel.  I held the block on the Whisper White panel for a tad bit longer than I normally would to stamp an image......I wanted to make sure all the ink from the block was going to transfer onto that panel.  The results gave me a beautiful marbled/swirled block image.
After the Powder Pink ink dried ..... I stamped the branches from the 'Colorful Seasons' set with Early Espresso ink.
And the final stamping was using the 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' set to stamp my Berry Burst flowers.  The finishing touch for the flowers was adding a tiny pearl to the center of each flower.
This card is a fun technique card with GORGEOUS results each and every time.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tag Thursday creation to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Note For You Heart Box

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER FUN to create and the product is featured in the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
I created this little 3x3 box for our August SW Stampers Door Prize.
It wasn't until after I had the box constructed that I realized that our new 3x3 envelopes weren't going to fit inside this box........So I had to make custom envelopes for this project (details at the end of this post on how to make the envelopes).
This little box holds 4-little 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" note cards that are scored at 2-3/4".  I also created 4-coordinating envelopes that tuck right inside the back of this box.
This was the belly band I created for my little box.....
I embossed the hearts and the sentiment for both the belly band and the note cards.
And here are the little 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" cards that were tucked inside the box.
Here's what all four note cards and envelopes looked like when finished.
When the belly band is removed from the box ......
The box top flips open to reveal the notecards and matching envelopes.
The belly band measures 2" x 9-1/2"
And the box is constructed with a 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" piece of Fresh Fig cardstock.  I used the Envelope Punch Board and punched and scored at 2-1/2" and 4" on all four sides.
The only other thing I had to do was construct envelopes for this little box.  Those were created with a 4-7/8" x 4-7/8" piece of envelope paper (or a good quality white copy paper) and I scored those with the Envelope Punch Board at 2-3/8" on all four sides.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your

Daisy Thank You Friend Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but I added some extra product found in the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is yesterday's Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT........
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT......
For today's card I made several quick and easy upgrades ........
And if your short on time .......
These upgrades bring an ordinary card up to the next stamping level.
I started my card out by stamping my sentiment with the 'Bookcase Builder' set ........ And quickly added Clear Embossing Powder to my Tranquil Tide ink.  All I needed to do was heat set my sentiment and that began the upgrading to this card.
Next I added a 2-1/2" x 4" panel of the 'Fresh Floral' Designer Series Paper to the center of my Whisper White base card.  Then I added the original 1-1/4" piece of coordinating 'Fresh Floral' DSP across the short end of my card.
For my daisy flower ....... I kept the Real Red daisy but sparkled it up by adding a quick layer of 'Clear Wink of Stella' to each of the petals.  I finished off my daisy with a 'Clear Faceted Gem' and that kicked my daisy up to a SUPER UPGRADED level that I was looking for.
So tell me friends.......
Do you have a favorite????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Daisy Thank You Friend Card

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  This card uses several new products from that catalog ........ So let me jump right in with my card share for today.
This is the PERFECT card to send to a special friend.
I started out this card by creating a 1/4" embossed border around the entire front of my Whisper White base card.  Once my embossed border was created, I adhered a 1-1/4" panel of the 'Fresh Floral' Designer Series Paper.  I selected the Tranquil Tide version and adhered it to the bottom portion of my base card.
Next I stamped my sentiment with the 'Bookcase Builder' set ...... And I used Tranquil Tide ink to stamp that sentiment.
The final step to creating this card was punching out two Real Red Daisy punches.  I used my Aqua Painter to dab some Real Red ink across each of the petals and then stacked those two daisies together to create a very fun and full 3-D flower.  The last step for my daisy was adding a 3/4" Tranquil Tide circle to the center and spreading some Two Way Glue Pen across the top of that circle ........ And that kicked in the PRETTY LOOK to my daisy that I was going for.
So there you have it friends ...... A quick and easy card that honestly LOOKS GREAT in any Stampin' UP! color combination.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
