Wine Down Wednesdsay Gift Card Holder

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Spent yesterday shopping with my youngest daughter Jennifer yesterday.  Then in the evening....I meet up with Hailey Girl and watched her at Dance Practice.  What a SERIOUSLY FUN DAY.  Here's some pics of the fun I had.....
Here we are loaded up from a trip to Costco.....
Next stop was some lunch at Olive Garden.....
We then hit up Kohl's......
Which was SO MUCH FUN!
Then at 5:00.....I headed over to Hailey's Dance.  One of my all time favorite things to do is get close-up pictures of her feet when she's in dance.
Here she is warming up......
And more warm-up moves........If only I could still do that (without someone having to call 911).

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
This might look like an every day normal holiday card .........

But check out this really cool matchbook style gift card holder!
This card was made with a 4-1/4" x 10-3/4" piece of Real Red cardstock.  It was scored at 1", 6" and 6-1/4".
And to keep it clean and simple......I punched two holds into my cardstock and threaded the 1/8" Silver Taffeta Ribbon around the back of my card.
For the inside sentiment ........ the 'B.Y.O.P.' set worked out PERFECTLY!
So there you have it friends ....... the perfect holiday card for all those people you are giving gift cards to this year.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun Tag Thursday creation ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and  join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3-D Tuesday Treat Bags

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Well yesterday I spent the day with my kids and we really packed in a WHOLE DAY OF ADVENTURE!  Here's a few pictures from the day.....
Here's my two daughter's......who were getting their nails done while Madelyn and I were getting pedicures.
We then picked up Michael and headed down to State Street for some fun!
A visit down to State Street wouldn't be complete without stopping in at the University Book Store.
And then in the evening ...... I went and watch Jared (my oldest grandson) league bowl.  I just love this action shot I got of him throwing a STRIKE!  (which he did MANY OF last night)

Now on with my blog post for today.  It's 3-D Tuesday and that means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER FUN to create and the greatest feature is all you need is a scoring tool to create it.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
These DARLING LITTLE TREAT BAGS just couldn't be any easier to create.
I started with a 8-1/2" x 6" piece of DSP.  I scored on the 8-1/2" side at 1/2", 3-1/2", 4-1/2" and 7-1/2".  Then I scored on the 6" side at 1" to form the bottom of my bag.
I added a 'Metallic Foil Doilies' to the front of each bag (using the white side of the doilies) ....... and then decorating each doilies with a layer of yummy colored circles.
The 'Yummy Little Christmas' set was used to add a pretty stamped sentiment (in Real Red) to the top of the layered circle.

And topping off my bag was just a matter of folding down the top and adding one of the 'Gold Binder Clips' and embellishing that clip with some ribbon and gold sequin trim.
Here's what the front and the back of my bags look like.
And I'm just saying ......... These bags will hold LOTS OF CHOCOLATE on the inside!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday Reindeer Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Well yesterday was our annual Gingerbread House Party and Holiday Cookie Decorating Event ........ And we just couldn't have had MORE FUN!!!!!!   We created 6-different Gingerbread Houses and about 200 holiday cookies.  Let me share some of that fun day with you now......
Without a doubt ...... these three kids make me OH SO HAPPY!
And these 6-grandkids just FILL MY HEART WITH JOY!
And put us all together in the kitchen ...... And some real MAGIC is going to HAPPEN!

Here's my Doll Baby Brooke.
 And my Twoie Boy.
This is the beautiful Madelyn.

Here's Jared......

My Hailey Girl....
And my precious Steven.
And I leave you with some of the beautiful cookies this group made.

Now moving on ....... Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional steps to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here's my Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT......
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT....
For today's card I added two simple upgrades to yesterday's card.
The first upgrade I made was to the Reindeer.  I punched him out with the 'Cookie Cutter Builder Punch' and then added a BIG SHINY RED NOSE to my adorable reindeer.  I also added an extra layer of circles and popped my punched out reindeer onto that layer of circles.
And my final upgrade to this card was stamping multiple reindeer images directly onto the front of my Crumb Cake base card.
A simply darling little card that is perfect either way!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday project with you ..... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
