Ribbon Slider Box

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  Since I am in FULL SADDLE-UP! MODE (It's this Saturday) ...... I decided to share a CASE project that the very talented Linda Parker created.  She has a uTube video on how to create this project and I have to honestly say ....... It's pretty easy to make.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
This adorable Ribbon Slider Box is made with two pieces of cardstock.  For the Lid I used a 11"x6-3/4" piece of Blushing Bride cardstock.  It's scored on the long side at 1-5/8", 5-1/4", 6-7/8" and 10-1/2".  And the short side is scored at 1-5/8" and 4-1/4".
For the Base I used a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock that is 10-1/2" x 8-1/4".  That is scored on the long side at 1-1/2", 5", 6-1/2" and 10".  The short side is scored at 1-1/2" and 5".
The coolest part of this box creation is that the ribbon is threaded around the box and that ribbon holds the top and bottom of the box together.  I used about 28" of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon for my box.
When the ribbon is untied ....... and the lid is removed ...... the bottom portion of this box holds 6-little 3"x3" notecards.
I created my little notecards with three different cardstocks.  Blushing Bride, White and Sweet Sugarplum.
Here's a little closer look at how the ribbon threads through the lid.
I brought the ribbon up under my banner flag ......
And then I was able to tie it up into a pretty bow at the top.
So there you have it friends ....... The perfect little project to make for someone special ........ 'JUST BECAUSE'.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
