Tag Thursday

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I have the last of the birthday tags I created for a private event I was asked to host.  This is one of those super easy tags that comes together with minimal supplies and still packs a WHOLE LOT OF FUN in the end.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
How's this for a quick and easy birthday tag!
I used some Designer Series Paper to create my candle......
Stamped my 'Happy Birthday' sentiment on the side of my tag......
Added a star for the flame and topped my tag off with some beautiful Baker's Twine.
The best part of this tag ........ You can grab all your small pieces of DSP and start creating a stack of these tags to have on hand to top off all your special birthday gifts.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Friends Friday post with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3-D Tuesday-Card Folio

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER QUICK and SUPER EASY to create and the greatest feature is you don't need any special tools to create it.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
This folio is a 7"x11" piece of Melon Mambo cardstock that has been scored at 5" and 6".
That's all it takes to create the folio wrapper for this card holder.
The two inside pockets are 5-1/4" x 7-1/4".
Each of the inside pockets are scored at 1/4" on three sides.  Then it's just a matter of snipping out the corners and adhering each of the 1/4" panels to the inside of the folio holder.
I created 6-full A2 size cards and coordinating envelopes to tuck inside my folio.  And each card is decorated with Cardstock, Designer Series Paper and a small amount of ribbon for an added embellishment on each card.
I used some Pink Pirouette Seam Binding to close my folio up ....... and tied it all up on the side in a pretty pink bow.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is my Spot-Light Sunday card on the left........
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the right........
To upgrade this card I wanted to add a couple extra layers and I think that worked out perfectly for this card.
I began this card exactly the way I did my Spot-Light Sunday card ........ And that sentiment (from the 'Stylized Birthday' set) was stamped onto a 4"x5-1/4" Whisper White panel.
I used the 'Swirly Scribbles' Thinlits to die-cut three large swirly circles for the front of my card.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Daffodil Delight cardstock for each of these circles. Then after the circles were die-cut........I stamped each of these die-cut circles with the 'Swirly Bird' stamp set.  I used Watermelon Wonder, Pumpkin Pie and Crush Curry ink.
On top of each cardstock circle I die-cut a swirly birds nest circle to place into the center of each circle.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Daffodil Delight cardstock to create my swirly birds nest circles.
On each of the swirly birds nest circles I punched out the smallest flower from the 'Blossom Bunch' punch in coordinating colors ....... And adhered those flowers to each of the bird nest circles.
Before I adhered down each of the three circles ...... I used the splatter stamp included in the 'Swirly Bird' set and stamped splatter marks all over my Whisper White panel.  Then when each of the circles were adhered down onto my Whisper White panel ....... I came in and added a couple leafs to each of the completed circles.
So there you have it friends ........ Two cards created with the use of the new 'Swirly Bird' stamp set and 'Swirly Scribbles Thinlits'.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot Light Sunday

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the new 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  This card uses several new products from that catalog ...... So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........
This pretty card was created with the new 'Swirly Bird' stamp set.
I began this card by stamping my sentiment with the new 'Stylized Birthday' stamp.  It's flirty and sassy script was the PERFECT WAY for me to start this card out.
I grabbed the solid circle image in the 'Swirly Bird' set and stamped two smaller solid circles onto my Whisper White base card.  I used Peekaboo Peach and Daffodil Delight to stamp these circles.  And then I came in and added a Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry swirly circle over the top of those two circles.  And for my third and slightly larger circle, I grabbed the open swirl circle and stamped that in Flirty Flamingo.
The splatter stamp was used with some Smoky Slate ink and I added some light splatter marking around the center of my Whisper White base card.  And for one final touch........I added a Crush Curry punched out Bitty Butterfly to the top of my card.
So there you have it friends........A bright and happy card that just screams happy birthday.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a Mix-It-UP! Monday version of this very same card ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

PP Saturday-Happy Happy Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have another HAPPY HAPPY card to share with you!  This card was made with the March Paper Pumpkin kit.  I added a few extra Stampin' UP! supplies to complete this card ......... And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  Let me share that card with you now.
Talk about a bright and happy card.  This one will FOR SURE make one of my friends very happy to receive.
I started out by stamping my 'Happy Happy' sentiment at the top right corner of my Whisper White panel.  I used Bermuda Bay ink to stamp my sentiment.
Next I cut down one of the card panels that was included in this Paper Pumpkin kit and added that to the bottom of my card front.  For a little bit of FUN ......... I added some glitter ribbon and 1/8" Bermuda Bay Ribbon to the front of my card.
Then I created this DARLING flower and made sure it had several layers on it before topping it off with a 'Botanical Garden Jewels Embellishment'.
So there you have it friends.  A perfect card for a very dear friend.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot-Light Sunday card with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Friends Friday

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Friends Friday.  On Friday's, I have the honor of spot-lighting some of the fabulous cards that I received from Friends ....... Fellow Demonstrators ........ and Family.  Each of these papercrafting creations is without a doubt some great works of art........and it is with great pleasure that I share them here with you.  Let me share some of the pretty things I've received from a few of my VERY TALENTED friends.......
First up is my first birthday card for this year.  It's from my very talented downline Dawn.  LOVE LOVE LOVE what she created for me.
Next up is a little something that my friend and downline Cheri brought over for me.  How STINKIN' ADORABLE is this coffee mug!
And Cheri also made this little cutie..........For my Monster!
Cheri took one of the plastic spool pieces from an empty Stampin' UP! Ribbon and tied several different types of ribbon around it.  She dropped it in a baggie of Catnip and then tossed it to Monster.  My Monster went NUTSO for his new toy.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a new Paper Pumpkin project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Tag Thursday

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER FUN BIRTHDAY TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
This tag just lifts me away.........
I created this tag with 3-different colors of taffeta ribbon.  Here's the retired Melon Mambo ribbon......
The Old Olive taffeta ribbon......
And this is the Crushed Curry version.

I'm just crazy about the way the strings from the balloons really helps to make the balloons look like they are floating.
No matter what ribbon or balloon colors you pick for this tag ........... It will make for a pretty birthday tag to top off your present.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Friends Friday post with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

This fun ........ Interactive card is as much fun to give as it is to receive.
The top and bottom flaps fold up to reveal a special little sentiment on the inside of this card.
And here is a close-up of that special little message.
The front circle is attached to the top flap with a single dimensional......
And the bottom flap is left unattached so it can flip up and down as you like.  By not attaching anything to the bottom flap ...... It is left to swing freely back and forth on your card.
This makes for a great masculine birthday card and as we all know ....... Those cards can be the hardest for us to create.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Tag Thursday creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
