Day 27/30 Day Challenge

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
For the next 3-days I am going to share with you the cards/projects I created for the InkBig 30-Day Challenge.  This challenge is to make a card or project and mail or give it to someone special.  Here is the project I'm sharing today..........
Today's card is going out to my oldest and dearest friend Nancy ....... Who is celebrating her birthday today!
I started this card off by die-cutting out the 'Rose Garden' Thinlits with Pink Pirouette cardstock.
I then attached that die-cut piece to the front of my Whisper White base card.  Next I grabbed my Paper Snips and began fussy cutting out the bottom portion of my die-cut rose.  An instant floral edge was created on my Whisper White base card.
Next, I stamped my "Just for you" sentiment from the 'Watercolor Wings' stamp set and punched it out with the large oval punch.  Then I matted it to a Rose Red Scallop Oval Punch and added dimensionals to the backside.
A final touch for this card was to add a 4-1/4"x5-1/2" piece of Rose Red cardstock to the inside of my Whisper White base card.  This allowed a small portion of the Rose Red to peek out to the front of the card ........ Adding a beautiful accent color to my card.
So there you have it friends ........ The PERFECT birthday card for a PERFECT FRIEND!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share my Day 28 of this 30-Day Challenge with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

It really wasn't that difficult Mary! By adhering the die-cut piece to the Whisper White base card.......It was pretty easy to sip around the edges.
