3-D Tuesday - Tissue Box

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is a pretty QUICK and EASY project to create ........ and the nice part is that you can keep reusing it after it is empty.  Let me share that project with you now......
Check out this pretty box I created to cover your otherwise 'typical' facial tissues that you keep in your purse.
What I did was make the packaging PRETTY...........So it is not only functional in your purse, but is also very attractive too!  The magic is the Stampin' UP! Envelope Punch Board.

You will start with a 6-3/4" x 6-3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper.
For Side #1: Punch/Score this side of your DSP at 1-7/8" and then slide your DSP over and punch/score at 3-3/8".
Now you will turn your DSP 180 degrees and this will bring you to Side #3 of your DSP.  (Side #3 is the side directly across from Side #1).  Punch/Score Side #3 with the same measurements you did for Side #1.
Turn your DSP 90 degrees and this will take you to Side #4 of your DSP.  Line up this side of your DSP to the score lines you created on Sides #1 and #3 and punch and score on both of these lines.
Turn your DSP 180 degrees and this will take you to Side #2 of your DSP. Line up this side of your DSP to the score lines you created on Sides #1 and #3 and punch and score on both of these lines.
This is what your DSP will look like when you snip the four corners and create the little tabs to your Tissue Box.
To create the center hole for your holder......Use your smallest Oval Framelit and die-cut out the middle section of your holder.
Use a small piece of Whisper White cardstock and your two Oval Thinlit dies to create an oval frame for the top of your holder.
Attach the Whisper White oval frame you die-cut to the top of your holder.
I added a small piece of Velcro adhesive to the backside of my holder ..... So I could replace the holder when the tissues were all used up.
A darling little project to make for yourself or give out to your friends during this cold and flu season.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
