Sun Flower Card

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Yesterday we spent the day running and catching up with my daughter and her family.  One of the places we went was Blue Banana Ice Cream Shop.
Here's a pic of my Jenni, me, Brooke and PopPop.
Here's a great little Sun Flower card that I made for my Downline Swap card in May.
How fabulous is this daisy.....
Made from the soon to be retired 'Blossom' punch.
And the center is the 7/8" Scallop Circle punch.
The squares are 1-1/2" squares with two of the corners rounded.
And the Sassy 'Thank You' is PERFECT for this fun card.
I have made several versions of this card......and each and every one is a Cutie Keeper.  Many Thanks to my friend Mary Fish for the idea for this card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing with you some of the sample cards I made for my retirement party last weekend.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Sheltering Tree

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Here's some quick shots of the kids by the pool yesterday........
Brooke.......And Twoie
Brooke.....Twoie....and Daddy
And a little play time inside before dinner last night!

Today is a 'girls' spa day ...... We are getting pedicures and manicures and then heading out to have a yummy Mexican lunch.  The boys are going to take off and do some exploring at one of our local parks.  We will all meet back up at the house for a yummy dinner that my son-in-law is preparing.  Talk about a fun day!  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

This fun card was made with the new 'Sheltering Tree' stamp set.
The technique of the tree comes from turning your big leaf stamp over.  You ink up the reserve side of this stamp with Pear Pizzazz ink and then 'stamp off' before inking your Whisper White panel.  This will give you a softer Pear Pizzazz color.  You then clean your stamp....turn it over and stamp it again (the way it was intended to be stamped) with full strength Pear Pizzazz ink and you get this amazing stamped tree image.
I used the 'thankful for you' sentiment in Early Espresso ink.....
And stamped my tree base in Early Espresso ink too.
This technique was taught to me at the Stampin' UP! Leadership in January ........ And I think it's one of the single most valuable thing I walked away with from Leadership.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun Sun Flower card that I made ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Ombre Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Needless to say........I am at my happiest when I'm with my kiddo's.
Jenni and her family arrived last night about dinner time.  And I am enjoying having my grandkids here and will be doing some SERIOUS SPOILING of both of them.  My card share for today is a fun little ombre style card ............ Let's jump right in with my card share for today.....

This style card was created with Striped Scallop Thinlits dies and three different colors of cardstock.
I used Early Espresso.....Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.
My Striped Scallop piece was die-cut with Early Espresso cardstock.

And a final touch for my card was to add a pretty Early Espresso ribbon and a Crumb Cake 'hello' tag.
Totally LOVE the look of this technique.....And will be making more of these fun cards.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another Sheltering Tree card that I made ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Baby Wipe Feather Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
TODAY IS THE DAY!
My daughter and her family arrive!
It's SHOW TIME my friends.  My youngest daughter Jennifer ...... along with her husband Michael and their two children (Brooke (aka-Doll Baby) and Twoie) will be arriving in Tucson at dinner time tonight.  I can hardly stand it......and I'm counting down the hours till they arrive at my front door.
My card share for today is one that I taught at my April Stamp Camp.
This card is made with the Four Feather stamp set......
And baby wipes.  What you do is use three baby wipes and drop three different colors of re-inker directly onto the baby wipes.  You then use the baby wipe as your stamp pad.
We added some Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine to the bottom of our Whisper White panel.....and the end results are a beautiful birthday card.
The fun with this technique is each and every stamped image will look different.  Thus making this a technique you will want to try over and over again.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a pretty masculine Ombre style card I made ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

April Thank You Cards

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
1-Short Days till my daughter arrives!
Okay my friends......It's final count-down time today.  I'm working hard to get all my grocery shopping and final errands done today.  Tomorrow will be spent finishing up the pool and cleaning the patio.  The kids should be here at dinner time tomorrow.  YIKES........You can't even image how EXCITED I am for them to arrive.
My card share for today are my April Thank-You cards for those customers who have ordered product through my on-line store.  I created three versions of this card.  This is the first......
Here's the second version......
And this is the third version.

Each of my thank you sentiment had a small Real Red heart added to the top of the sentiment ...... And either had a single Real Red banner flag added.......
Or three Real Read banner flags added.
These thank you cards work perfectly for thanking those on-line customers who place orders with me in April ....... And mirror the thank you tags I made for my local customers who ordered from me in April.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun card I made using Baby Wipes ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

April Thank You Tags

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
2-Short Days till my daughter arrives!
Today I'm hosting a "Retirement Open House" for my Stampin' UP! customers.  I have pulled all my retired stamps and product..........And have invited my gals to drop in and view the recently announced Stampin' UP! retired product.  I will also give my gals the opportunity to make cards with any of the Stampin' UP! product that I have set out.  I have made several sample card projects to inspire the ladies.......And will just let them "GO AT IT" and have some fun.

My share for today are my April customer thank-you tags.  Let's jump right in with this share.....
Here's the four different versions of the tags I made.
I used the 'Stacked with Love" Designer Series Paper Stack......
Along with a 'Personalized' Circle Monogram stamp that I had designed.
My Bitty Butterfly punch looks amazing with a fun little trail.  And this butterfly trail was created with the help of a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
I topped off my tag with some Real Red Cotton Ribbon and tied it all up with some Basic Black Baker's Twine.
LOVE how these tags turned out........And have heard from several of my customers saying they really like this months tag.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you my April Thank You Cards ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Embossed Cello Bags

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
3-Short Days till my daughter arrives!
Today I have a fun little treat to share with you.......And it's one that I recently shared with my fabulous Upline Lisa Pretto.  I created one of these and a special little card.........And sent it off to her in Wisconsin.  Let's take a closer look at how I created this little packet of chocolate fun........
Here are the four versions of this little cello bag that I made.
I used White Statz-On ink and applied the ink directly onto my embossing folder.  Then all I did was place my cello bag into the folder and closed the lid.  All that was left to do was run my brayer over the top of the folder and that transferred the Statz-On ink from the folder to the cello bag.
Here's a close-up picture of what the cello bags look embossed.
I added some Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon to the top.....
And these little chocolate goodie bags are ready for me to hand out.
I used the Chalk Talk stamp set and dies to create my special little tag for Lisa.  And I even gave it that special little "Kadie Touch" by using Crystal Effects on the die-cut Real Red heart.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you my April Thank You tags ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Get Well Card

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
4-Short Days till my daughter arrives!
I honestly can't believe that in just a couple days my daughter and her family will be here.  I'm putting the finishing touches on the sleeping arrangements.........And making sure the pantry is STUFFED with all the kids favorite treats.  I also have a big stamping event planned for this Saturday ....... I'm throwing a retirement stamping party.  I've invited my stamping friends to stop by and make cards with all my retired product.  With so much going on.....I'm going to jump right in with today's card share........
This card went out to a special friend who had a car accident last week.
I made this card with Coastal Cabana and the Work of Art stamp set.
The flower and 'Get Well' message were both stamped with black ink........
And a final touch was adding a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine at the bottom of my Whisper White panel..........And scattering some Gold Sequins around the front of my card.
Just love how this card turned out.........And the nice thing about this layout......it looks amazing all almost any color.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun embossed Cello Bag that I created ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
