Mix It UP! Monday Santa Card Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
My youngest granddaughter Brooke (Doll Baby) and I took off early yesterday morning to get her an early birthday gift.  She wanted a pair of UGG Boots and we were on a mission to grant her that birthday wish.  Check out these pictures of our fun day.......

We drove out to the Boot Barn in Black Earth to pick out her UGG Boots.  Here she is modeling the black UGGS that she wanted.  On the way home .......We stopped at Culver's for some yummy lunch.

And what would a day be without some fun pics of Twoie.
Here he is in the morning having coffee with me......And the other pic is him taking his bath last night.

For my card share today.......I have a fun Mix It UP! Monday card  to share with you.  This card is an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in the 2015 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here's a recap of my Spot Light Sunday card (top) and my Mix-It-UP! Monday version (bottom) of that very same card.
I began with the same Pool Party base card - and added a panel of Very Vanilla to the front of my card.
Instead of punching my Santa out with the circle punch ........ I fussy cut out the Santa and mounted him to the front of my card with some Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped with the same Old Olive ink and 'Cozy Christmas' stamp set.......
But for this version I added some Real Red Pom Pom Trim ...... along with a pretty Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine bow and the center of that bow was filled with a small 'Metal Rimmed Pearl'.
And one additional item I added was some 'Very Vanilla 1-1/4" Stripes Satin Ribbon to the back of my stamped sentiment panel.
I think this card is simply ADORABLE and I just couldn't be any happier with the way it turned out.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a 3-D Tuesday project ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot Light Sunday Santa Card

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Well yesterday was our traditional Gingerbread House Party for 2015 ........  And to say we had FUN would be an UNDERSTATEMENT.  Here's some pictures of the crazy/fun packed day.......
The day started out by Twoie and me playing with Play-Doh......

We then set-up for the Gingerbread House Party to begin and that's when the 'GOOD TIMES' started to roll.  Here's the  girls putting out everyone's treats......And then Hailey, Brooke and Steven starting up with their Gingerbread Houses.

Here's Twoie working on his house......and Jared as he finished up his house.

It was one of the first times I got a picture of each of the grandkids.....
Steven.......Brooke (aka Doll Baby)

Twoie and Hailey.....

And the grandson that started this whole event ....... Jared!

Of course a Gingerbread House Party just wouldn't be complete without some fun snapshots of my kids........Cheryl, Jenni and Michael.
And as we finished up decorating the cookies ....... Each of the kids made a special cookie for PopPop.  Needless to say......It was then time to bust out the Rum and Cokes for NaNa.

So jumping in with my Spotlight Sunday card share for today ....... I have a wonderful holiday card to share with you.  This card uses a combination of product found in the 2015-2016 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and the 2015 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  Let me share that card with you now.
This sweet little Spot Light Sunday card just couldn't be any easier to make.
I stamped my sentiment in Old Olive ink with the 'Cozy Christmas' stamp set.
And my Santa was from the 'Home for the Christmas' Designer Series Paper set.
The card is a FESTIVE and TRADITIONAL style card to create.

Thanks for joining me today ......... And letting me share the fun day I had with my family with you!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Mix-It-UP! Monday version of this card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Paper Pumpkin Saturday - With Love

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Well it's the 13th Annual Gingerbread House Saturday at the White House today.  I have to say that my daughter OUT-DID HERSELF with all the Yummy Nummies this year.  Check what the kids will be working with this year to decorate their gingerbread houses.........

We start out each year with a Gingerbread House for each of the kids.  Twoie played 'GUARD' over all the sweets that we have for the houses.

There is every known treat to decorate the houses......

And just in case we didn't have enough ...... My daughter made sure she had a back-up plan to cover the day.

SO.......on to my blog post for today, I have a fun Paper Pumpkin Saturday card to share with you.  This card was made with my August Paper Pumpkin kit and only one additional Stampin' UP! product.  That product was just some Pink Pirouette cardstock.  I'm thrilled with the way they turned out ........ Let me share that card with you now.
This sweet card would be perfect to give to that someone extra special.
I stamped the 'with love' with Whisper White craft ink ...... onto the pre-punched label shape that was included in my kit.
The pink banner was die-cut using the Stampin' UP! banner framelits and this card was DONE IN A FLASH!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot-Light Sunday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Tag Thursday - Merry Tree Tag

Happy Thanksgiving My Blogger Friends!
Well my friends ........ Happy Turkey Day to you!  I'm heading back to Madison, Wisconsin today ...... And will be spending the next three weeks in the COLD COLD WEATHER of the Midwest.  SO EXCITED to spend time with my kids ....... And those ADOABLE grandkids of mine.

Jumping right in with my blog post for today ........ I have a fun little Tag Thursday creation to share with you.  This is a SUPER FUN HOLIDAY TAG that can be created quickly ...... And will top off any gift you might be giving this holiday season.  Let me share that tag with you now.........
This tag uses lots of product from the 2015 Holiday Catalog.
I started off by die-cutting my two holiday trees with the help of the new 'Perfect Pines Framelits Dies'.  And for a little extra punch ....... I added several little 1/8" Cherry Cobbler circles to each of the trees for the ornaments.
The bottom portion of my tag ...... I added some 'Season of Cheer Designer Washi Tape' and then wrapped some 'Gold Metallic Baker's Twine' around  my tag.

My Crumb Cake tag was topped off with more 'Gold Metallic Baker's Twine' along with some 'Thick Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine'.
And my final addition was adding a single wooden snowflake from the 'Snowflake Elements' pack to the top right hand corner of my tag.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
