Mix-It-UP! Monday Fall Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday, but before I share that card with you ........ I have a grandkid update to share with you.  I will be heading back to Wisconsin again this year to share Thanksgiving with my kids ........ And here are three of the smiling faces that will be waiting for my arrival.............
Hailey, Twoie and Brooke (a.k.a. Doll Baby)
This pic was taken this past weekend at the Oregon Soceer games.

Now on to my Mix-It-UP! Monday card.  Today I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in the 2015 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is the card I shared with you yesterday (on the left) and my Mix-It-UP! Monday card (on the right).
I not only changed the orientation of this card ........ But I also increased the size of my two top panels for this card.
I did stamp the four leaves in the colors that I shared yesterday (Cajun Craze, Tip Top Taupe, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive)........
But instead of stamping them onto a long Very Vanilla panel ....... I stamped and punched each of them out with a square punch and then matted each of them with their matching cardstock color and a base of Early Espresso cardstock.
I also embossed my 'Lighthearted Leaves' sentiment with clear embossing powder ...... And that gave me the RICH and CRISP look I was hoping to create for my sentiment.
A final touch was adding a Early Espresso Seam Binding bow.  To achieve this look I punched a 1/8" hole into the center of my Very Vanilla cardstock and then ran my seam binding through that hole and around my cardstock.  All that was left to do was tie a pretty bow at the front of my card.
So there you have it friends.  A pretty card no matter what version you decide to make.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a fun 3-D Tuesday project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Love both of these cards. The layering of colors is just gorgeous. LOVE how you did your bow and the sentiment ROCK's with the clear emboss powder on it.
