Sneak Peek AND Announcement

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special announcement on some changes that you will begin seeing this week on my blog.  I will begin scheduling regular featured blog posts ........ that will reveal some of the GREAT THINGS that are happening in my life ...... And also that which is happening at Stampin' UP!

This means ........ I will begin capturing all the FUN STUFF that is going on and keep those post scheduled to a regular day each week. SO ........ Please stay tune for the big reveal starting tomorrow.

For today however........It's a sneak peek of a fun stamp set that is being released on June 2nd with the new 2015-2016 Stampin' UP! Catalog.  Here's my share for today......
This card uses the new 'Sprinkles of Life' stamp set that in my opinion ........ is going to be the 'BEST SELLER' stamp set of our new catalog.  This set is located on the inside back cover of the new 2015-2016 Stampin' UP! catalog.  Each year.......Stampin' UP! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities ....... And this set, Stampin' UP! will donate $3.00 to Ronald McDonald for every set sold.
Here's a close-up of the cute little cupcake I created for this card.  I used the new Watermelon Wonder ink (on Pink Pirouette cardstock) for the frosting.......And the base of my cupcake uses the new Tip Top Taupe cardstock (I embossed mine with Clear Embossing Powder).

One of the hottest new items in our new catalog is this AMAZING Envelope Paper (sold on page 148).  It's a thin text weight paper that is PERFECT for making envelopes ..... But also works GREAT as decorative paper.  I used a small panel of the Envelope Paper to decorate the front of my card.

I also used the 'Stylish Stripes' Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on my Whisper White panel ...... and I used the 'Age Awareness' stamp set on my Watermelon Wonder banner flags (that also were embossed with Clear Embossing Powder).

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you my FUN NEWS ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Herringbone Background Card

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a sneak peek CASE card to share with you.  It's one that my fellow demonstrator Brian King shared on his blog earlier this week.  He shared a video on how to create a fabulous 'Herringbone' background panel.  I knew the minute I saw Brian demo this technique.........I was going to give this technique a try.   Let me share that card with you today.......
This card features the SUPER EASY Herringbone background technique that just couldn't be any easier.  I created three versions of this card using the new 'Bohemian' Designer Series Paper that will be one of the new DSP packet available in our 2015-2016 Stampin' UP! catalog.
The Herringbone background comes with 1/2" wide strips of DSP.......
And are stacked next to each other to create this fun herringbone pattern.

My first card featured a 2-1/2" Rich Razzleberry Circle along with a 2-3/8" Scallop Circle that was punched out with Bermuda Bay cardstock.  All three version of this card featured the new "Friendly Wishes" stamp set.  This version was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.....then punched out with the 2" circle punch.
For an added layer of WOW ......... I wrapped some Crushed Curry Bakers Twine around my Herringbone panel and tied it off in a pretty bow.

My second version of this same card used Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry cardstock......
Here's a close-up of that fabulous sentiment.
And my last version of this card uses Bermuda Bay and Delightful Dijon cardstock.
Simply love how this color combination came together.  MANY THANKS to Brian for providing his amazing video on how to create the Herringbone background panel.......I'm crazy mad for this technique!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you more sneak peek card projects I've been working on ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Sneak Peek - Birthday

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a fun little sneak peek birthday card to share with you.  It's one that I will be making as one of my swap cards for the 2015 Stampin' UP! convention.  I received my pre-order last week and have been having a BLAST playing with all the new product I could get my hands on to.  Let me share with you now the card I created........

This card uses the new "Build a Birthday" stamp set.  It's a new photopolymer set and is such a fun set that I'm going to list it on my next 'Stamp of the Month Club'.
I used the new 2015-2017 Stampin' UP! In-Colors to create my card (Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush).  I also used the new SUPER AWESOME "Cherry On Top" Designer Series Paper Stack to create the banner flags for each of my stamped birthday flags.  The really nice thing about our new Paper Stacks.......they are coming out in 6x6 size.
I stamped my 'birthday wishes' with the new Watermelon Wonder ink ......... And think this card is just a PERFECT SWAP CARD for convention.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

World's GREATEST.....

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the final card I created for my May PMS Camp.  This class was a "Positively Masculine Stamping card class that used the 'Guy Greetings' set and pulled together this awesome 'Father's Day' card.   Let me share that card with you now............
I'm using this card for some special guys in my life.....
What makes this card so amazing is that you can change out the oval sentiment to be whatever name you want.  The 'Guy Greeting' set comes with "Grandpa, Brother, Dad, Husband, Uncle" so your bases are pretty much covered for pulling together a fun Father's Day card.
The Crumb Cake panel was run through the Big Shot using the Chevron embossing folder......
And an added fun touch was using the new 'Handheld Stapler' to create a fun 'X' at both ends of the Early Espresso strip of cardstock.

We used the 'Something Borrowed' Designer Series Paper for our bottom panel ...... And added three little Early Espresso dots in the corner of this panel.
And a final touch was adding two punched banner flags to the bottom of our 'Window Frames Collection' piece.
LOVING the way this card turned out ....... And will be sending out several of this card for Father's Day!  (Sorry in advance to all the Mother's I missed this year!)

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun sneak peek card I made ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Happy Birthday Guy Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
I'm back today with another card I created for my May PMS Camp.  This class was a "Positively Masculine Stamping card class that uses the 'Guy Greetings' set and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.  Let's jump right in with this great Birthday card.........
This was the perfect addition for those hard to make masculine birthday cards.

We started out by stamping the car from the 'Guy Greetings' stamp set .......
And mounted it to a piece of Early Espresso cardstock that was run through the Big Shot using the 'Zig Zag' embossing folder.
Our Soft Suede panel was stamped randomly with the 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set......
And the birthday sentiment was from the 'Guy Greeting' stamp set.
A final touch was adding some Early Espresso Baker's Twine around our completed image panel.
A great masculine birthday card ....... And another winning card for my May PMS Class.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you one final guy card ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Hats Off To You!

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have another PMS Camp card to share with you.  The "Positively Masculine Stamping" Camp was a HUGE HIT and with this many masculine cards........It was no wonder that the ladies went home happy with a good stash of masculine cards.  Let's jump right in with today's card share.......
This 'Hats Off To You" card is perfect in the color combination that we made (Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry) ........ But it honestly looks amazing in many different color combinations.
We began by using the 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set and adding some Smoky Slate lines along the left hand edge of our Whisper White panel.
Our sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink ........ And our hats were stamped in Smoky Slate.
We stamped another set of hats with Bermuda Bay ink and then fussy cut out one of the hats and added it directly over one of our Smoky Slate images.
A final touch was adding some Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine around the left hand edge of our Whisper White Panel.
Darling little card and the perfect card for that guy in your life that has been promoted or has received recognition for a job well done.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another PMS Camp Card with you ..........  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

You're My Anchor

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have another card I created for my PMS Camp for May.  This class was a "Positively Masculine Stamping Camp and we used the 'Guy Greetings' set to make our cards.  Let's jump right in with this seriously great card.....
Talk about a fun PMS card.  This masculine card came together in a FLASH!

We began by stamping our Crumb Cake panel with the coordinating ink pad and the 'Hardwood' background stamp.
Our sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  We then used the 'Project Life Cards and Labels' framelits to die-cut our sentiment.
Our anchor was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock with Chocolate Chip ink and then die-cut out with the "Circles Framelits Collection".  We then used the next size up circle and die-cut out a Marina Mist circle and decorated it with tiny Night of Navy Circles to make it appear like a port-hole.
This is a perfect card for that fabulous man in your life that deserves to hear how special they are.   Guess who is getting mine?  (shhhhhhhh - don't tell Jack - It's going to be waiting for him this morning next to his morning coffee!)

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you more guy cards that I made ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Fill Your Shoes

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a quick and easy 3x3 card to share with you.  It uses the "Guy Greetings" stamp set that is in the Occasions Catalog.  Check out this fun card......
This little 3x3 card uses a minimal amount of product......And comes together in a SUPER SNAP!
I started out by adding a tiny piece of Basic Gray DSP to the top and bottom of my 2-3/4"x2-3/4" Whisper White panel.  Then all I did was grab my "Guy Greetings" stamp set and stamped the shoes and sentiment right in the center of this Whisper White panel.
One final touch was to add some Basic Gray Baker's Twine around the center of my card ...... And this little notecard was done!
This little notecard looks 'OH SO CUTE' attached to a pretty gift bag and the end results are INSTANT FUN!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another card I made using the "Guy Greetings" stamp set ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream
