Celebrate With CAKE

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
We did some serious HANGING OUT and managed to not only go to two of our favorite spots.......but had some of the most DELICIOUS FOOD in Madison.  Check out what we had........
Some AMAZING and OH SO YUMMY Bread and Wine!
I had the Veal........
And Jack had the Crab Cakes.......
Check out what was left of our dessert.....
And the VERY BEST cup of coffee.

My card share today is one that was shared on our Stampin' Connection website a couple months ago.  Check out this fast and easy card.......
It's one of those cards that you can create in a FLASH ........ And is PERFECT when faced with the challenge of what to do with all those scraps of cardstock and DSP you have left over.  All three panels of cardstock, DSP and glimmer paper were cut into different widths and adhered down onto my Whisper White base card.
The new Decorative Dots embossing folder was used on the Tempting Turquoise cardstock panel to add a POP of texture to the front of my card.
My birthday cake was stamped on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched out with a SU circle punch.  I then created a Tempting Turquoise layer using the Starburst framelits dies.
And a final touch was adding some Real Red Stars.......and Gold Glimmer circles to the top of my card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun little 12-Tags of Christmas set I created ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mustache Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Yesterday......I had a lunch date scheduled with Laurie.....who is one of my dearest hospital friends.  We both worked for this hospital (she has been there 40-years......And I worked there 7-years)......and this was the scene I captured as I drove up to the hospital.
This is Meriter Hospital.
I worked for the retirement services division when I lived in Wisconsin.
I was SO IMPRESSED with the BEAUTIFUL courtyard that is right outside the front entrance of this facility.

And as I entered the facility ...... One of the newest additions I spotted was the re-naming of the coffee shop.  LOVE IT!

Now on with my card share for today.  It's a quick little card that is made with the new "Mustache" framelits die.
This is that fun little card.
I simply die-cut out three mustache images using Soft Suede cardstock and added a Chocolate Chip candy dot in the center of each of the mustaches.
I stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment (from the "Occasion 4 You" set) with VersaMark ink onto a panel of Chocolate Chip cardstock.  And then I used Whisper White embossing powder to create a clean and crisp sentiment for my card.
SUPER HAPPY and SUPER FUN birthday card to send out to many of the guys on my birthday card list.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you an amazing birthday card ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Another Version

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Last night we had the honor of watching my oldest granddaughter (Hailey) win the Softball championship in DeForest, Wisconsin.  Here's a few pictures of the fun event.......
Here's my Hailey Girl positioned at first base.......
And here is Hailey rounding third base to score her first run.

Needess to say ....... her team won the Softball championship.....
And won all the metal.
SO PROUD of my Hailey Girl.......and her BIG WIN!

For today's card, I have a repeat of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I changed up the colors and orientation of my card.
I still used the "What's Your Type" and Water Color Thank You sets.......
But for this card I started out with a Strawberry Slush base card.
And I used Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush ink for my stamped images.
I used Early Espresso ink to stamp my "thank you" sentiment and used the new Strawberry Slush Bakers Twine at the top of my card.

Here's a re-cap of what both card designs look like.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a great guys birthday card ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Thank You Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
What a fun day we had at the Cross Plains Library yesterday.  Here's a few pictures of our TOTALLY FUN DAY........
What better way to start a Scrappin Day ...... Than to make a pit stop at our favorite Starbucks store.
Hailey showing us how to do a selfie with my iphone!
Her mom (my daughter Cheryl) got the hang of it right away.....
(Even Driving......)
But it took Hailey three tries to explain to her NaNa how to do a selfie.......
We even decided to take this selfie at the libary..............but realized that nobody had a free hand to click the shutter button.......and that just managed to crack us all up for this selfie!
Here's Hailey working on her Paper Pumpkin kits.......
And a sample of one of the cards she ended up making.
Here's Cheryl preparing Twoie's birthday gift.
And me trying to do some camera adjusting.
And as we were packing up to leave the library ....... I stopped to take this picture of the GORGEOUS storm that was moving in over the town we were leaving.
My card share today is this SUPER FUN thank you card made with the new stamp sets What's Your Type and Water Color Thank You.
I stamped my images with Coastal cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding ink.
And then stamped my "thank you" sentiment with Crisp Cataloupe ink.
One of the final touches was adding Coastal Cabana Baker's Twine around the bottom of my card ...... And then added some Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker around each of the stamped circles.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another version of this card - but using one of my favorite SU colors ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

So Very Grateful

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Needless to say........Life has been SUPER BUSY since we arrived back in Madison on Friday.  Here's what we did yesterday.......We took a drive out to Middleton to hook up at Ms Laurie's Salon.
I got a perm.......
Cheryl got her hair cut and highlighted......
And Hailey got a trim.......and a BEAUTIFUL BRAID.
Here's the most amazing hairdresser on this planet.  (NO.....She's not giving anyone the figure.....It would be kind of hard to do that with three fingers missing on her left hand and two fingers missing on her right)
And even with those missing fingers ......
This amazing hairdresser is able to Cut....Color...Perm and Style
hair like NOBODIES BUSINESS!
Here's what she created with Hailey's hair in less than 5-minutes.
WOW - THANKS Laurie for the fun day!
So for today........my daughter and I (plus Hailey) will be meeting up with some of the Madison Scrappin Gals to do an all day scrapbook crop out at the Cross Plains Library.  Looking forward to connecting with some of my scrappin friends and to get one project done for Twoie's first birthday.  Hopefully .......  I will have some pictures to share with you tomorrow.

Now on with my card share for today.  This card was inspired by a sample card I saw on Stampin' Connection.  Here's the card I CASED......
When I saw this card......I knew I just had to recreate it for myself.
It uses the new Hostess Stamp Set "Let Your Hair Down".  I also used the new Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder for some extra texture on both the Whisper White and the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock pieces.
And the flowers were created with the "Flower Shop" stamp set ........ and I used both Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe ink and cardstock.
For a fun little WOW FACTOR ........ a piece of the Crisp Cantaloupe Bakers Twine was added to the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock panel.

SERIOUSLY HAPPY and FUN 'CASE' card!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a sassy fun card ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
