Fun Shop Cards

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I would like to share with you the three cards that together with my two girlfriends Ann and Debbie.....we made at a SaddleBrooke PaperCrafter's Fun Shop.  Here are those three cards......
First up is the card that Debbie taught.  The technique that Debbie was sharing with the ladies was how to attach Vellum to our project.
The trick was to attach the vellum to your Whisper White mat with two black brads.
The next card is a watercolor card.  Ann taught how to make this card.  She used watercolor paints from the Dollar Store and added the paint directly onto watercolor paper.
The real magic to this card is the beautiful black diecut landscape piece that was positioned onto the watercolor paper to create a beautiful sun-set on the water look.
And this is the technique card I taught.  I shared with the ladies how to emboss an image onto their Whisper White mat.....and then take a sponge dauber and ink up two different colors and swipe it over the embossed image.
I also showed the ladies how to use the mats you have for all your images.......and slide your punch all the way up into your cardstock and punch out your image (in this case.....It's the stars in the upper right hand corner).  The ladies ended up having a red and blue mat for the inside of their card and they used those pieces to punch out the stars for the front of their card.  After you have punched out your mats.......add your layers over the top of each punched out cardstock mat and each of the layers will cover up where you punched out your image.  Just a quick little technique to save on how much cardstock you need to have for each card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a card I made with a new catalog set.............Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
