SaddleBrooke Stamper Tags

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Every December.......My SaddleBrooke Stamper group has a Holiday Party.  It is tradition that we exchange holiday tags and I want to share the three sets of tags that I made for our 2013 Holiday Tag Exchange.

Here are the three tags that I created for our exchange.
First up is this ADORABLE snowman!
He is made with lots of punches.....
And the tag itself is stamped with a snowflake stamp and I used heat and stick powder and then added Dazzling Diamonds all over the snowflakes to keep the glitter on the tag and not on the floor.
I added a piece of 3/8" Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon for my scarf and as an accent piece at the top of my tag.
My second tag is a retired Stampin' UP! Santa stamp.
I added some black and white bakers twin to the top of Santa's hat.....
And colored in Santa's hat (red) and used Crystal Effects to create a fun shine to his hat.  I then added some white puffy paint to his hat.
One final touch......I put a drop of Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to Santa's eye.  This helped to create a fun little twinkle to Santa's eye!
And my third tag was inspired by my good friend Mary Fish......
I changed up my tag and added some small red and silver bulbs (that have Crystal Effects added to each of them) and created a tree trunk for the base of my tree (with some Chocolate Chip cardstock).
I added some retired Red ribbon and used some green Bakers Twine to tie it all up.
A simple "To" and "From" stamp completed my tag.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you some of the holiday decorations that I put up around my house........Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Kadie's November FU Swap Card

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I would like to start out my blog with a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISH to my good friend Mary Fish.  It's her birthday today and think that if you can head over to her blog (http://www.stampinpretty.com/) and wish her a very Happy Birthday......I just know it will MAKE HER DAY!

My card share for today is the card that I had my fellow FU club gals make in November.
My inspiration was a CASE from Josee Smuck at Stampin Girls Gone Wild.  I just changed up the color combination and added some coordinating ribbon.
We stamped our holiday sentiment and embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder.....
And our hexagons were punched out using the Winter Frost DSP and Silver Glimmer Paper.
We added a small piece of the retired Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.....And this card was DONE!
I also made a more traditional sample for the ladies to see......
This sample uses the Season of Style DSP and the new Silver Foil Sheet paper.
I also added some retired Cherry Cobbler Scallop Dotted Ribbon to my card.

LOVE how both versions of these card turned out.  Regardless if you use traditional holiday colors or more modern and festive colors............This is a great card to create and send out this holiday season.

Thanksgiving Mailbox Treats

Happy Turkey Day!
Today.......Jack and I are going to celebrate Thanksgiving in a very NON-TRADITIONAL way.  We will be making a Mexican Fiesta for our Thanksgiving dinner.  I'll be making tamales, street taco's, burrito's, refried beans and fried corn.  It's something DIFFERENT and FUN and we are hoping to start a new tradition in our household for Thanksgiving.

My share for today is the SUPER CUTE gift that I made for my SaddleBrooke friends for Thanksgiving.
This project was inspired by my Scissors and the City friend Terry.  She shared this project with me at our October event and I knew immediately that I wanted to create this project for my girlfriends for Thanksgiving.
The container is from the Dollar Store.......and is a salt and pepper container.
I filled the container with candy.....
And then wrapped it up in cello paper.

The REAL MAGIC came when I added raffia to the top of the container and that created an Indian Corn look......and all I needed to do was add a tag to my package.
I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE how this project turned out and want to say "THANK-YOU" to Terry for this wonderful mailbox treat.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the swap card I made for my November Fabulously Unique group........Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Turkey Cookies on a Stick

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special little Thanksgiving TREAT to share with you.  Here's what my stamping friend Carol made for me......
Carol made these ADORABLE Turkey Cookies on a stick!
Doesn't he have the most PRECIOUS little face?
These are double stuffed Oreo cookies that Carol dipped in chocolate and then added Candy Corn and other edible treats to create her turkey face.
Carol made three of them.......Two for me....and One for Jack.
I couldn't help but display them in my flower vase that sits on my studio desk in front of my window.
 They SERIOUSLY make me SMILE......BIG!
Thank You Carol for thinking of me during this busy Thanksgiving Holiday Season.  I LOVE my Turkey Cookies on a Stick and promise to let Jack eat his before the end of the day on Thursday.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the Thanksgiving mailbox treat that I made for my SaddleBrooke friend.  Hope you can stop back tomorrow and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Ann's Swap Cards

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing the two cards that Ann had us make at our November FU gathering.
This first card is a SUPER FUN SURPRISE card......
 It's a gate-fold card with a fold over twist!
The ovals interlock to open up the gate fold of this card......
And after the ovals are separated........It opens up to reveal a oval mat on the inside.
Here's what it looks like when both sides of this gate fold card are opened.
To close this card back up......just close-up the right side and over lap the left side to close the card up completely.  DARLING and UNIQUE card Ann.  LOVE IT!
And the second card Ann had us create was this triple layered inked card.
We used glossy card stock and a spectrum ink pad and with the help of a brayer......We went to town covering our glossy card stock with these three beautiful shades of color.
The first image we added was our "thinking of you" sentiment........
And then we used the cottontail stamp to fill in our images.
This was a real WOW card......and I'm going to give this technique another try soon!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share my November FU Swap Card with you......Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Fabulously Unique November Cards

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today and tomorrow.......I will be sharing the fun projects that my FU GalPals made for November gathering.  Let's jump right in with the card projects that Kris and Debbie had us make.......

First up is this great card that Kris created!
She bought this new stamp set and had us stamp these three images!
We stamped the top hat and then fussy cut it out and used dimensional adhesive on the back and popped it up off our card.
And all that was left to do was stamp these images and our card front was finished.
Kris used this super great sentiment for the inside of our card.
I'm crazy about this card......and will be saving it for Jack's birthday in January.
And my second card share is the card that Debbie had us create.
We created this great file folder card.
We stamped, inked and embossed our three leaf images.....and then added a great button to the center of our cluster of leafs.
And we stamped a very fall style "Thankful for" sentiment for the front of our card.
I'm totally LOVING how this file folder card turned out!
