Scissors and the City Make and Take

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I want to share with you three little Make n' Take projects that I made at the Scissors and the City Retreat in October.  This is a three day event that Sandy, Dale and Stephanie hold twice a year and I join five of my Phoenix friends for a FUN PACKED WEEKEND of scrapbooking, cardmaking and OVER THE TOP FUN
Here are the three projects that Sandy set up at the Make n' Take table each day of our retreat.
This first project was a small little notecard.
We punched out three different butterflies from a stack of DSP Sandy had on the table........and then we arranged them on a small piece of White Twill Ribbon.
We ran a steel die-cut through the Big Shot to create a darling tan frame to position our butterflies on.  And then we used an envelope punch board to create a special little envelope.......that our notecard fit perfectly into.
Our second project was a charming tag.......
We started out by stamping our pumpkin image onto a piece of watercolor paper and used a water color brush to color in our image.
We added a beautiful burlap piece of ribbon for our bow......
And then stamped "be thankful" and embossed it with some beautiful gold embossing powder.
And our last Make n' Take was a fun fall card.
We die-cut out a leaf and then used some different inks to turn it into a FALL MASTERPIECE!
We added some twine and embossed our chocolate chip panel with a fun wood panel embossing folder.
So there you have it friends.......all three Make n' Take projects we made at the October Scissors and the City Retreat in Tucson.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the Congrats card I made for my downline Abbie.........Who had another AMAZING month in October.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
