Organizational Tip - Punches

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing a fun little organizational project with you.....but first,....I just have to take a moment to be a proud grandma!

Here is a picture of my granddaughters.......Hailey Girl (11years old) and my Doll Baby-Brooke (10 years old).  Hailey is my oldest daughters 2nd child.....And Brooke is my youngest daughters 1st child.  They are tight cousins and have a BLAST when they can get together and hang-out as they did this past weekend.
My share today is a Sampler Template I made for all my punches!
I created this little template to help me figure out what image or sentiment I might be able to use for some of my punches.
All I did was take some black cardstock and grabbed each of my punches and punched out in the center of each piece of cardstock that particular punch.  I also added a sticker label right above the punched out shape....so I knew which punch I was looking for in my cabinet.
Then all I need to do is grab my template sampler and position it right over the image in my Stampin' UP! catalog....and then I know exactly what punch is going to fit that image or sentiment.
So here's an example of what this retired cupcake image looks like if I used the 1-3/4" circle punch.

This is a brilliant idea and has saved me ENDLESS time when I'm creating my cards.  And because the sampler book is kept together with an "O" Ring.....I'm able to add to my sampler book without any hassle.  I also have it hanging on the door handle of my punch cabinet.....and that way it's always at my fingertips when I'm crafting.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another organizational tip with you......Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  1. What a great idea. I've seen it done with cardstock to identify the colors but this is really brillant. There are so many times I've needed this. Thanks for your nice email. Your creations are great and you have a nice group of ladies to stamp with. We can always use inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
