School Bus Notecard Gifts

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Well.....the countdown has begun for my Stampin' UP! Get Away Vacation!  Jack and I will be packing it up and heading to San Diego.....Which in itself is a TREAT ........ But the fact that his sons and grandkids live over there is a DOUBLE BONUS!  We will be enjoying our 4-days in San Diego for the Get Away Trip - and have added 3-extra days onto our trip so we can see the boys!  So once again......I find myself RUSHING to get everything at home base tucked in and finished before we leave on Thursday morning.

My share today is a little something I made for my two grandkids that are still in grade school.  Steven and Brooke are still at the age that they love to take treats into their teachers and classmates for holiday's........and the way I look at it.....the first day of school is the biggest holiday of the year.  I created some super cute boxes of notecards for their teachers and principals ..... and had them deliver them on the first day of school.  Here's those super cute boxes.....
Each box held 6-little 3x3 notecards and envelopes and they were created with their teachers or principals name on the front of each card.
Here's what all four sets looked like!
And here is Brooke's teachers gift box.......
And Brooke's Principal's gift box........
Steven's Principals gift box......
And Steven's teachers gift box!
The bus was created using my Cricut and the DoodleCharm cartridge......I made the rolling roadside with Early Espresso cardstock that was torn and inked at the edges.  The "stop sign" was the Stampin' UP! Hexagon Punch........and the names of each teacher or principal was printed out on my computer and then punched out with the Word Window Punch and matted onto a Modern Label Punched out piece with Basic Black cardstock.

I purchased the clear boxes from the internet and used some retired Stampin' UP! ribbon to tie each of the gift boxes up with a pretty bow.  LOVE LOVE LOVE how this project turned out and have already heard from the kids that their teachers LOVED their beginning school year gift.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'm off to finish up making my October and November Stamp Camp card projects.  I will be doing two Christmas/Holiday Stamp Camps this year and wanted to make sure I had a jump on the projects before we leave for San Diego.

I'll be back tomorrow to share another Kards by Kadie project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back tomorrow and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
