SBS August Challenge Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today's card share is the card I made for my SaddleBrooke Stampers Challenge Card in August.  Each month.......my good friend Ann LaPerre offers our club members the opportunity to participate in a card challenge and I jumped at the opportunity to participate in our August challenge.

We were given a blue and brown piece of cardstock.....a small piece of DSP and some white seam binding.  We were then told to GO CREATE a card........and here is the card I made...........

I used a single Early Espresso 4-1/4"x5" piece of CS to create my base card........and used Ann's blue card stock and folded it in half to create a fold out card piece that was adhered directly down onto my Early Espresso base card.
My flower was created by using several scallop punch layers and adding dimensionals to the back of my flower before adhering it down to my card.
The DSP that Ann provided us with was what I used to cut out two of the flowers and then I added those two pieces to the Early Espresso framed out piece that I wrapped my bow around.
And my sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink from a non-Stampin' UP! stamp set and die-cut out using a non-Stampin' UP! framelits die.
Here's what my seam binding looked like all tied up to create a pretty package for the front of my card.
And as you see here.....I used a non-Stampin' UP! embossing folder to create a fun diamond embossed background to my blue cardstock piece.
The end results.........A fun and happy card.......that is the perfect card to send to someone to let them know you are thinking of them.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share my SaddleBrooke Stampers July Challenge card with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and let me share that card with you.  Keep Living Your Dream!
