Uncle Sam Hat!

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I want to share with you the ADORABLE mailbox gift I have made for each of my SaddleBrooke friends.  I went out early this morning and delivered these little cuties to 25 of my dear sweet friends...............
This idea was originally on Pinterest and I changed it up some and used the supplies that I had on hand in my studio!  I knew the minute I saw these little cuties that they would make the PERFECT mailbox gift for my friends.

I took a 4-1/2" long piece of white glossy cardstock and made a tube (the original post showed to make these with an empty toilet paper roll).  I then wrapped a 1-1/4" piece of Midnight Muse cardstock around the bottom of my tube.
I used my new Circle Framelits and diecut out circles (for the rim of my Uncle Sam Hat).  I used my White Signo Gel Pen to draw some stitching lines around the outer edge of my diecut circles.....Thinking this would give my Uncle Sam Hat a fun stitched look.
I grabbed a retired SU Star Punch and added four White Glossy Stars to the Midnight Muse border.......
And all that was left was to add some candy to my Uncle Sam Hat.  I picked some red licorice and tied it up with some Blue and White package ribbon and added a small piece of red tulle for a punch of FUN!
Here's a little closer view of what the hat and candy looked like.
Once I dropped the candy into the Uncle Sam Hat.....it actually started to take on a look of a fire cracker ........ and all that was left for me to do was wrap each Hat up and get all 24 ready for delivery.
And here are all 25 Uncle Sam Hats just waiting for delivery!
So there you have it friends.........My birthday gift to each of my SaddleBrooke Friends!  Wishing each of them a very Happy Fourth of July.

Thanks for joining me today......I'll be back tomorrow to share more of my birthday cards with you.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
