Card for Debbie - Challenge Day 4

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have Day 4 of the InkBig week long Card Challenge that my Upline Lisa Pretto put out to my InkBig Group from Wisconsin.  Today I'm sharing a card that I'm sending to my good friend Debbie.  Look at this fun little card I made for Debbie........

I used the "Gifts of Kindness" stamp set to stamp my focal floral image.
I stamp my floral image onto Whisper White cardstock using Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink.
My sentiment comes from the "Six-Sided Sampler set and that was punched out using the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle punch.  I mounted my "hello Sweet Friend" onto a 1-3/8" circle punch and used dimensional adhesive to POP UP both of those pieces.
I ran my Cherry Cobbler front mat piece through the Big Shot using the new Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
And then wrapped a piece of Daffodil Delight Seam Binding around my Cherry Cobbler frame and adhered that piece down onto my card before calling this card DONE!

I just know that my good friend Debbie will enjoy receiving this special little card from me.  Just want her to know how much I'm thinking of her.....and that I'm MISSING her big time this summer!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share the card I made for Day 5 of the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Sympathy Card - Challenge Day 3

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Day 3 of the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge.  I have a pretty sympathy card that I will be sending out today to one of Jack's relatives that passed away a week ago.
Sympathy cards are probably one of my favorite cards to make (I know REALLY..........can you tell I worked at Hospice for 13 years????).  I mainly like making sympathy cards because they almost always involve stamping some type of flower and the card always turned out clean and well defined.  This card is no exception......
My flower was stamped with the "Too Kind" stamp set and I just love the little accent pearl that I added to the center of each of my flowers.
I tucked a small piece of the Crisp Cantaloupe Stretched Ruffled Trim to the right edge of my flower piece and finished it off with a half piece of a Doilies that had the edges inked up with some Soft Suede ink.
My sentiment is from the "Petite Pairs stamp set ......... and I used Soft Sued ink to stamp that onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I punched it out using the Large Oval Punch and then grabbed my Decorative Label Punch to punch out a Crisp Cantaloupe piece and added that to the lower right hand corner of my card.
I'm sure that our relatives down in Indiana will treasure the sweet sentiment I have written on the inside of this card.......As I want them to know their loved one will be missed and that Jack and I are thinking of them from Arizona.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share the card I made for Day 4 of the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Card for Lynn - Challenge Day 2

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have Day 2 of the InkBig week long Card Challenge that my Upline Lisa Pretto put out to my InkBig Group from Wisconsin.  Today I'm sharing a card that I'm sending to one of my dedicated blog followers Lynn.  Look at this OH SO PRETTY card I made for Lynn........
I made this card for Lynn with the Dress Up Framelits Dies.
I use the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder to emboss my Whisper White piece and matted that piece onto a Pretty in Pink piece  These pieces were then adhered down onto a Rich Razzleberry card base.
The dress was diecut using the retired International Bazaar DSP.............
And I added some retired Pretty in Pink Scallop Dotted Ribbon around the waist for a belt.
Just love how this mirror turned out.......It's the Apothecary Accents Framelits that was diecut with Rich Razzleberry cardstock.....and then a large oval was punched out using some silver glimmer paper.
So there you have it friends........a pretty card for a well deserving blog follower.  (Hope you like your card Lynn and the goodies that I tucked inside it.)

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share the card I made for Day 3 of the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Card for Pam - Challenge Day 1

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
I love it when my upline Lisa Pretto calls a Team Challenge to our InkBig group.  She has requested that the InkBig Team Members participate in a team challenge that requires us to make and send a card every day for ONE WEEK STRAIGHT!  I'm up for the challenge and will begin this challenge with a darling card I made for one of my on-line customers.  Check out this little cutie I sent to Pam..........

This card was inspired by a card that the wonderful Angie Judda made a couple months ago.  From the minute I saw this card......I began figuring all the different ways I was going to use the different Washi Tapes in our current catalog to recreate this card.
I used the Gingham Garden Washi Tape trio for the base foundation of my front panel.  I also used the new Artisan Label Punch and "Label Something" and "Label Love" stamp set for my thank you sentiment.
Some Early Espresso Bakers Twine was wrapped around my Whisper White panel and then tied up I a pretty bow.
Here's the "Label Something" and "Label Love" stamp set that was stamped with Early Espresso and punched out using the Artisan Label Punch and the 7/8" Scallop Circle punch.
You could change this card up for just about any occasion.......and not only change up the color of ink that you used.....but also the color of Bakers Twine that you added to this project.  THANK YOU Angie for your darling little card creation!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share the card I made for Day 2 of the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Christmas In July Fun Shop

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a fun little swap card to share with you.  It's one that my SaddleBrooke Stamper Friends will be making today at our Saturday Fun Shop Event.  We are doing Christmas in July and this is the fun little card that I will be having the ladies create.........

I used some retired Stampin' UP! DSP for my background panel and then the ladies will tear some Whisper White cardstock to begin making snow drifts.
Frosty is made with a stamp and diecut set that I had in my stash.......and by adding some Crystal Effects to his scarf and holly berry diecuts.....This little guy just SCREAMS Holiday Fun!
I added a touch of Crystal Effects to his nose.....and added some stitching lines to his hat with my Signo White Gel Pen.
For a little WOW FACTOR......I used my Two-Way Glue Pen to added some Dazzling Diamonds around the outer edges of the body of my Frosty!
To make the snow drift......I cut three different sections of Whisper White cardstock (1", 1-1/2" an 2"......each by 4-1/4") and torn the upper edge of the smallest piece and then inked the edges with some retire Bashful Blue ink.  I then glued that piece to the 1-1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock and by doing this.....I was able to use the edge of the smallest piece as my guide on where to tear the next snow drift.  This allowed me to get even and defined edges to my snow drift.
I then attached the second panel (after inking the edges with the Bashful Blue ink) to the 2" panel of Whisper White and began tearing that last panel to create the third layer of my snow drift.  I also inked the edges of the 2" torn panel with the same Bashful Blue ink and this gave me three snow drifts for my Frosty to sit in.  The final step to creating my snow drift was to use my Two-Way Glue Pen and some more Dazzling Diamonds to the top edge of all three layers of my snow drifts and that put the finishing touch on my snow drift panel.
I added a cute little "Let it Snow" sentiment to the top right corner of my card and that completed this fun little Christmas in July card for my fellow SaddleBrooke Stamper Friends.
LOVE how this card turned out!  I'm going to make some kits up for Hailey and let her create these Frosty cards for one of our upcoming Skype Sunday projects.  Just know she's going to have fun with this one.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing cards that I'm making (and mailing) for my InkBig Group Challenge for next week.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Awards!

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have some pictures from our Awards Ceremony to share with you.  Check out the fun people were having........as they celebrated all their hard work and dedication to their Stampin' UP! business........

That's me in the recognition room.  I didn't connect with any of my group for the first two days/nights so I missed out on throwing my camera to one of them and asking them to get some pictures of me on the stage.  I was able to walk the stage for earning the "Get Away Vacation"(in San Diego in September) and also for the five year anniversary march.  But I did find this camera man in the recognition room that was able to take my picture.  I was able to write whatever message I wanted on the bubble....and this just said it all.  "THANKS LADIES" for supporting my Stampin' UP! business.
I was able to get a picture of the screen that recognized my 5-year anniversary........
And I snapped this picture of the Milestone Personal Sales because I did receive a Sales Pin this year when I checked in for Convention!
Here's Brian King as he stood up on stage with Shelli and received his Rising Star promotion!
Does he just not look HAPPIER than HAPPY!
Here's Tami White from "Stamp With Tami".
She received MANY AWARDS at the 2013 Convention!
And without a doubt......My good friend Mary Fish.....Just KICKD BUTT this year with her accomplishments and #1 achievements!
And one last look at Mary Fish with Shelli......
And here are a few of my fellow Stampin' UP! Demonstrators that made Founder's Circle 2013.  This is awarded to the TOP 100 demonstrators in the organization!
Lorri Heilling (L) from" Confession of a Stamping Addict" and fellow Arizona friend was on that Founder's Circle list............
Patty Bennett (Patty's Stamping Spot)
also made the list......
As well as Dawn Griffith from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.
Dawn was recognized so many times that I'm sure by the time this award was announced......she was seriously ready to just sit down and have a good cry.
And one last picture of my good buddy Mary Fish!

So there you have it friends........Some of my friends and fellow Stampin' UP! Demonstrators.  Each of them worked hard this past year to reach these milestones and I just know they will continue moving upward in their Stampin' UP! careers.  WELL DONE FRIENDS and CONGRATS!

Thanks for joining me today....I'll be back to share some special cards with you tomorrow.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Guinness World Record Challenge

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My share today is all about making a difference and in particular.........the Guinness World Record Card challenge that Stampin' UP! set out to meet last Friday night at Convention.  We were asked to bring a hand-made card to convention and help set the world record of the most cards sent from a single location at one time.  GUESS WHAT FRIENDS.........We Did It!  We recorded a total of 2,984 cards in the three hour timeframe that Guinness World Records set up for us.  Here is the card I brought with me for this challenge......

I made this special card for my good friend Kris H.
I wanted to send her a special little thank you for helping me with my July Camp order.......and I also wanted to give Kris some bragging rights.  I wanted her to be able to say that she received one of the 2,984 cards that were sent out for the Stampin' UP! Guinness World Record Breaking Card Challenge on July 19, 2013.
I used the new "Fishin' Around" stamp set for my focal image and ran a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock through the Big Shot using the "Window Frames" framelits collection set.
I used the "I Am Me" DSP stack for my two cross-over panels and backed each of them with a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I then added a pretty punched edge to the Whisper White cardstock using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.  I also ran my Crisp Cantaloupe base piece through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
I colored in my two fish with my Stampin' Write Markers.........and then used some Crystal Effects to pretty up the fish and some of the bubbles and water.
We had two requirements for our card to qualify in this Guinness World Record challenge.....and that was our card needed a stamped image on the front of our card......AND a stamped sentiment on the inside.  Here's what I stamped on the inside (along with a special little note to Kris).

It was LOTS of fun being part of this fun World Record Challenge and I'm sure that Stampin' UP! will break it's own record again some day at another Stampin' UP! event.

Thanks for joining me today......Hope you can come back tomorrow and join me for some special pictures I took at our Stampin' UP! Awards Night.  Keep Living Your Dream!

2013 Convention Swap Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing the swap card I made for the 2013 Stampin' UP! Convention.  I prepared 175 of these little cuties.....and I handed out all 175 of them.  That means I have 175 swap cards from some of the most talented demonstrators out there.  Here's my card......

I created this cute little swap card using the new "Deco Labels" collection framelits die.  All I did was cut off one end of the label and then rounded the other end and used it as a flower pot.  I used the Polka Dot Parade DSP for the flower pot and the Pansy Punch for my flower.  I coordinated the DSP with the flower and then added a Boho Blossom punch for the center and added a special little Pearl to the center of each flower.
I also used the "Framed Tulips Embossing Folder for each Whisper White base card.....and the flower stem came from the "Backyard Basics" stamp set.  Each stem was stamped with Gumball Green ink and then I used Clear Embossing Powder and heat set each stem for a little WOW FACTOR on every card.  The "Bitty Butterfly" was punched out with Old Olive cardstock and I created a fun little "Wish Big" banner using the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.
And here is what all 175 of my swap cards look like all packaged up and ready to go into my Convention Bag.  Because I packaged them up so neatly.........they all made it to Salt Lake City without a single bend or fold.  I ended up handing out all but one small box of my swap cards in about one hour.......and then came back to the convention center the next day and handed out the remainder of all my cards. YAHOO........It was a LOT of work putting these little cuties together.....but receiving 175 different swaps in exchange for all that hard work WAS WORTH IT!

I'll be back tomorrow to share the Guinness World Record Card that I mailed out from Convention.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and see that card.  Keep Living Your Dream!
