New 2013-2015 In Color Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Day 18 of my Hummingbird Update.......
Here's my little hummers in all their glory.........(Spike is facing Left....and Gizmo is facing Right).  My dear friend Carol told me that baby hummingbirds typically stay in the nest for 21-28 days before they leave.  Guess I have a few more days to enjoy my little friends.

Today's card share was created by my fellow SW Stamper demonstrator Karen Reid.  This was her May Swap Card.

To create my version of this card I also used all five new In-Colors (Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantalope, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar) and punched each of them out with the new Mosaic Punch......And then added a punched out Bitty Butterfly that was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
I used my Simply Score Tool to create a 1-1/2" embossed panel across the bottom portion of my card.......and that is where I positioned each of the Mosaic punched images.
I used the Lacy and Lovely stamp set for my "Thank You" and that was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink.

MANY THANKS to Karen for her BRILLIANT idea to not only spot-light the new In-Colors.....but also create a GORGEOUS and FUN card.  Will probably be using this idea for my June On-Line Thank You cards.

Thanks for joining me today........I'm off to start preparing for Stamp Camp....which is next week.  I have NEVER waited this late in the month to pull a camp together.  I wanted to wait until my new product order came in......so now I've got my work cut out for me this week.  Hope to see you back here tomorrow.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  2. That is so neat. Can you really tell them apart? Does one look different from the other? How interesting and fun! Thanks so much again for sharing your hummers!

I love the butterflies on the mosaic pieces. What a neat idea! The different colors are fabulous. Nicely done. Thank you again for sharing.
