SaddleBrooke Stampers April Fun Shop

Happy Memorial Day My Blogger Friends!
Here is Day 4 of my Baby Hummingbird update.

If ANYONE would have told me how fast a baby hummingbird grew.........I would have NEVER thought they would be anything but a bean for at least the first week.  OH NO MY FRIENDS....they are growing like CRAZY.  All reports tell us they will be leaving the nest in 14-days....and I honestly wonder how THEY and MOMMA will fit for the next 14-days in this tiny nest.  MANY THANKS to all who have left me comments on my new addition........Sounds like you'all are having as much FUN watching my baby hummers as Jack and I.

For my card share today.......I have three cards that I made at a SaddleBrooke Stampers Fun Shop in April.  Our club scheduled a road-trip down to Real Deals in Tucson and our event included lunch....these three card projects....and some fun shopping for home décor during this SUPER FUN Shop event!
Our Fun Shop Coordinator Linda scheduled this Fun Shop with the owner of Real Deal Tucson and she held this private event for our club.  This first card used the Cricut Machine and the Child's Year cartridge.

I fell in love with this card and LUCKY ME..........I have this cartridge and can see making more of this card.
This next card is a PERFECT card to make for a block party or summer cook-out event.  Amy used another Cricut cartridge to die-cut out the utensils that go into the pocket of this apron card.
We even added some rick-rack around the outer edges of our pocket and added three darling little buttons on the pocket.
And our last card we did some embossing of our stamped flowers and then added some colored bakers twine for the steams.
Two FUN ELEMENTS on this card are the grass like edging we added to the bottom of our card (Done with a border edge punch).........and the PRETTY PRETTY buttons we added to the center of each flower.

Many THANKS to our SaddleBrooke Fun Shop Coordinator Linda for scheduling this SERIOUSLY FUN Fun Shop.  We all had a great time and enjoyed not only making these cards...but getting some shopping done too.

Thanks for joining me today!   I'll be back tomorrow to share one of the Make n' Takes we made at the National Scrapbooking Day Event I went to at the Little House.  Hope you can make plans to join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  4. Wow....I love your cards and project. The silhouette of the two girls on top of that printed paper is fabulous. The apron project is soooo cool. My Mom passed away in November and I have been looking for something to put one of her hand written recipes in. I will have to try to make the apron and frame it with the recipe for my kitchen. Your flowers and border ROCK. Fabulous job! Thank you soooo much for sharing!

I just love those hummers. I see the one looking up and I can see his beak. How cool is that! I kind of thought that the beak would be longer and skinnier. Hmmmm....we will have to wait and hopefully get to see more pic's. Thank you soooo much for sharing this wonderful Act of God with all of us! Blessings to you!
