Graduation Cards-Hailey and Jared

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Day 8 of my Hummingbird update.  Here's the latest pic of my little hummers........
Can you SERIOUSLY see both of them????????  Spike is on the right facing to the TOP of the nest and Gizmo is on the left facing to the BOTTOM of the nest......
I just can't believe in ONE DAY how their features CHANGED BIG TIME! AND....HOW BIG they got (in one day!).  It just proves that Momma Hummer is doing a great job of getting these little guys ready for flight next week..............

My card share today are the two graduation cards I sent to Hailey and her older brother Jared.  First up is Hailey's card......
Hailey's school colors are Purple and Gold ....... and it didn't take me long to come up with this card layout.
I stamped the congrats sentiment from the "Delightful Dozen" stamp set and used some retired Lavendar Lace (retired) and Daffodil Delight cardstock for the bottom portion of my card......
And grabbed some non-SU purple glitter paper for the stars that I punched out.  I used a retired "Starring You" stamp set and stamped lots of stars all over the top portion of Hailey's card.  Like the way this card turned out......and since Purple is one of Hailey's favorite colors......She will LOVE IT
This is the card I sent to Jared.  He graduated from the 8th grade this year and is heading into High School this fall.  UNBELIEVALBE!   Jared's school colors are also Purple and Gold.......
So I used the layout that my good friend Kris had us make at our April FU(Fabulously Unique) card in a box gathering and figured it was the PERFECT for Jared.
I ended up adding a couple extra pieces of DSP to the inside of his card and a special little message of congratulations on a JOB WELL DONE!

Thanks for joining me today.......I'll be back tomorrow to share the cards I sent to Steven and Brooke.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Gift From Kris

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
It's Day 7 of my Hummingbird update and I am BLOWN AWAY with how different my little hummers look today.  They have filled up the entire bottom of the nest and can be seen reaching up over the top of the nest when Momma comes back to feed them.  Check my little cuties out.......
Spike is on the RIGHT....and Gizmo is on the LEFT!
How fabulous is this ....... that these little guys are right outside on my patio.  I am SO BLESSED!

My share today is a wonderful gift that my good friend Kris made for me.
She created this folio notebook for me and I was soooo excited when she handed it to me.  The main reason is because the last notebook she made for me ended up becoming the property of Mr. Jack.  All I could think of is......He's not getting this one away from me!
Here's a peek at the inside of the notebook.....
But before I open this notebook up....I want to show you the amazing string closure that Kris made for my notebook.  This string closure does an amazing job of keeping this notebook closed but can be opened up in a flash to gain access to the inside......
And here is the inside of my notebook.......
Kris attached several sheets of Crumb Cake cardstock to the inside and just attached them with two quick staples.
I simply LOVE this notebook and will end up putting inside my purse for some quick shopping notes.  All I know is this one is OFF LIMITS to Mr. Jack.

Thank You Kris for my darling gift.....I seriously LOVE IT!

Thanks for joining me today.  I'm off to go shopping with Kris and Rochelle today......taking a much deserved DAY OFF from my studio and sending it with two great friends.  I'll be back tomorrow to share some of the graduation cards I made for my grandkids........Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Card From Jan

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Day 6 of my Hummingbird update and LORDY are Spike and Gizmo getting big.  Spike is a little bit BIGGER then Gizmo and they both have taken on some amazing changes from last week.  Check these little hummers out........
Spike has his mouth wide open for this pic!

My card share today is a GORGEOUS card I received from my friend Jan.  She gave me this card right before she left to go back to Colorado for the summer.  I'm hoping she will share with me the template or how she created the BEAUTIFUL bow on this card.  Check out Jan's card.........

Doesn't this card just make you SMILE!
I have no idea what stamp set or DSP Jan used....but every single thing about this card coordinates so beautifully!
The single most precious thing about this card is the DARLING Bow that Jan made.
It is SO 3-D..........
I love love love how everything coordinates together to bring you one GORGEOUS looking card!
And if Jan hadn't already out-did herself......Check out the beautiful DSP design she put on the inside of my card.........UNBELIEVABLE!
Thanks Jan for making me such a special card........I will have this one displayed in my studio for a LONG LONG TIME!  Thank You Friend!

Thanks for joining me today.....I'll be back tomorrow with another Hummingbird update and a project share that my good friend Kris made for me.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Scrapbooking Event Make n' Take

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
It's Day 5 for my Hummingbird update.....and I can report that Spike and Gizmo are eating and growing FAST.
Momma is leaving her nest about every 15 minutes to feed her babes.......and you can actually see the very tops of their heads when she comes back to the nest to feed them.  The tops of their heads just pop up for their feeding.....and when Momma is done feeding them.......they settle back down into the nest and give Momma a quick 15 minute rest until the next feeding.

My share for today is a fun little brag book that we made at the Little House National Scrapbooking Day event.  This is one of the project we made........

All the pieces were cut out and packaged in a kit......all we needed to do was put the project together.  Everything was in our kits........and we just walked through gluing all the pieces together.
I will probably give this little brag book to my daughter for Baby Twoie!
The Teddy Bear creation was made from cardstock and the gals at the Little House actually taught this class a few months ago.
We used die-cut frames for the inside pages of our brag book.......
Each page had a die-cut frame and then a framed mat so you could add pictures or use for journaling.
Love the shape of this page......
And I think this page would be so precious with a cute little picture of Twoie!
Perfect page for some journaling.......
Here's how we attached our book together.  We just used some Bakers Twine and attached each of the pages together and then tied bound the pages to the actual frame of our brag book.
Just know my daughter is going to love love love this little brag book.  She will be able to leave it on her desk at work.

Thanks for joining me today......I'll be back tomorrow with another Hummingbird update along with another Kards by Kadie creation to share with you.  Keep Living Your Dream!

SaddleBrooke Stampers April Fun Shop

Happy Memorial Day My Blogger Friends!
Here is Day 4 of my Baby Hummingbird update.

If ANYONE would have told me how fast a baby hummingbird grew.........I would have NEVER thought they would be anything but a bean for at least the first week.  OH NO MY FRIENDS....they are growing like CRAZY.  All reports tell us they will be leaving the nest in 14-days....and I honestly wonder how THEY and MOMMA will fit for the next 14-days in this tiny nest.  MANY THANKS to all who have left me comments on my new addition........Sounds like you'all are having as much FUN watching my baby hummers as Jack and I.

For my card share today.......I have three cards that I made at a SaddleBrooke Stampers Fun Shop in April.  Our club scheduled a road-trip down to Real Deals in Tucson and our event included lunch....these three card projects....and some fun shopping for home décor during this SUPER FUN Shop event!
Our Fun Shop Coordinator Linda scheduled this Fun Shop with the owner of Real Deal Tucson and she held this private event for our club.  This first card used the Cricut Machine and the Child's Year cartridge.

I fell in love with this card and LUCKY ME..........I have this cartridge and can see making more of this card.
This next card is a PERFECT card to make for a block party or summer cook-out event.  Amy used another Cricut cartridge to die-cut out the utensils that go into the pocket of this apron card.
We even added some rick-rack around the outer edges of our pocket and added three darling little buttons on the pocket.
And our last card we did some embossing of our stamped flowers and then added some colored bakers twine for the steams.
Two FUN ELEMENTS on this card are the grass like edging we added to the bottom of our card (Done with a border edge punch).........and the PRETTY PRETTY buttons we added to the center of each flower.

Many THANKS to our SaddleBrooke Fun Shop Coordinator Linda for scheduling this SERIOUSLY FUN Fun Shop.  We all had a great time and enjoyed not only making these cards...but getting some shopping done too.

Thanks for joining me today!   I'll be back tomorrow to share one of the Make n' Takes we made at the National Scrapbooking Day Event I went to at the Little House.  Hope you can make plans to join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Hummingbird Day 3 AND Cards From Lisa Pretto

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Day 3 of my Hummingbird Hatching and I want to share two quick pics with you.  I would NEVER BELIEVE that these little guys are only TWO and THREE days old.  The internet tells us the babes only stay in the nest for 14 days.......LORDY I can't believe how big they are going to be at Day 13.......
You can probably tell which one is Spike........(One on the Right)
And the second babe is Gizmo.....
Spike is bigger than Gizmo....but I'm hoping that little Gizmo catches up in record breaking time.

My card share for today are three cards I received from my Upline Lisa Pretto.  First up is this card from Lisa congratulating me on my January Sales.....
I was #2 in Sales in February with my InkBig Group......And Lisa sent me this "Way to Go" congrats card.
And this was my March congratulations card from Lisa.

LOVE LOVE LOVE receiving these cards from Lisa.........It's nice that she recognizes my hard work and inspires me to keep reaching my sales goals each month.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some cards that I made at a recent SaddleBrooke Stampers Fun Shop........Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
