SBS February Theme Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the ENTIRE DAY scheduled as a PLAY DAY.....and that means......LOTS of FUN in my studio.  I'm planning to get caught up on all my club challenges and card swaps for the month of March....and hopefully be able to get them all finished and ready for delivery before the end of the day.  I'm also going to try to get a jump on a new Skype Project that I'm going to be doing with my oldest granddaughter Hailey on Sundays.  I will give you the skinny on Sunday about that project (I know she reads my blog and I don't want to spoil the surprise for her).  So.....for today.......I will be sharing the card I made for my SaddleBrooke Stampers Theme Card challenge for the month of February.  Check out this AWESOME Card I made........

Our theme for February was "Love is in the Air".  I of course know that my first love is Jack....but my all time second runner up is CHOCOLATE!  So......I thought WHAT THE HECK - Why not put these two elements together and I create a "LOVE" card that is dedicated to Jack and my love for Chocolate.........
I used two of my all time favorite colors......Pink and Chocolate Chip!
I used a retired SU stamp set that just screamed to be embossed and raised up with some dimensional adhesive.  I stamped the chocolates out in Chocolate Chip ink and clear embossed each of them and then used my Paper Snips to get a nice clean shape to my candies.
I punched out a small Pretty in Pink Heart and added a clear bitty button with some Gray Bakers Twine (from the Happy Hello SAB Simply Sent Kit) and use Crystal Effects to gloss up the entire heart and the Crystal Effects also adhere down the bitty button.

I created this fun Framelits die piece for the inside of my card......
I started with the Apothecary Accents Framelits and the Window Frames Collections Die (both in Chocolate Chip) and layered those two pieces together.  I then punched out a Decorative Label punch in Whisper White and stamped my sentiment onto that and adhered that Whisper White piece onto my Framelits piece.
I also used my Scallop Trim Border Punch for the top and bottom portion of my chocolate candy piece......and I even ran my scallop square pieces through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Folder on each of the square pieces.

LOVE LOVE LOVE how this card turned out......and hope that whoever received my February Theme Card as their exchange card liked what they received.

Thanks for joining me today.....I'll be back tomorrow to share my February SBS Challenge Card with you.........Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
