2nd Skype Sunday Card

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the second card that I helped my Granddaughter Hailey to make yesterday at our Skype Sunday.  I received this card idea from my good friend Mary Fish.....who posted this card on her blog last week.  Here's the second card that I had Hailey make yesterday......
I sent Hailey several Polka Dot Parade colored DSP for this card........She made several of this card and fell in love with this design.  She also stamped her cards with several stamp sets that I had sent off to her.......and she even left some of the blank and will add her sentiment when she decides to send those cards out.
This is my sample card that I sent to Hailey......LOVE LOVE LOVE the Real Red Polka Dot Parade DSP.......Honestly my favorite!
The larger butterfly is punched out first and then the DSP is added directly to my base card.......And then the top overlay piece is added to your base card with dimensionals and this helped to create lots of texture and dimension to your card.  the final touch was adding a bitty butterfly to the center of my punched out butterfly image.
I forwarded Hailey four cards to make with the sentiments already stamped for her......
And here are the six cards that I left blank and Hailey will decide what the sentiment will be on the front of each of these cards.

Many THANKS to my good friend Mary Fish for sharing this awesome card design with me.  This project proved to be the PERFECT beginner sample card and after I showed Hailey how to put the first card together ...... She had no troubles making the other three cards.

As far as the five blank cards that I sent her..............Hailey is going to wait to put those together on Wednesday and Thursday.  Her class assignment for those two days have required her to be TECHNOLOGY FREE and not be using any modern technology for two full days.  Hailey figured making cards both of those days would be the perfect thing to fill her time (and of course reading too).  Told Hailey I wouldn't Skype her till the weekend.....as the computer will be off limits for those three days..

I'll be back tomorrow with more Kards by Kadie creations.....Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Licving Your Dream!

  2. Sniff Sniff! Tears welling up in my eyes at the precious moment you have with Hailey! And how smart to think she'll wait to stamp a sentiment until she knows just what is needed for the moment. Another stamper in the family!
