Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends.....
It's Valentine's Day today and my honey informed me last night before I went to bed that he was taking me out for Beyond Bread and Coffee this morning.....and then he is taking me to Fresh Produce and buying me something from my ALL TIME FAVORITE women shop in Tucson.

SO......It's not only Valentine's Day....but it's also my Grandson Jared's 14th Birthday!  Happy Birthday Jared.....

My share for today is the SIMPLY ADORABLE Valentine's Day treats I made my SaddleBrooke Girlfriends.  This honestly has to be one of my all time favorite treats I've made for my girlfriends.  Check this cutie mailbox out......
I used the QuicKutz Mailbox cutting die to create my fun little Valentine's Mailbox.
And although the mailbox is cute.....What I put inside each of the mailboxes is the real "Gift".
I made some FUN LITTLE Hershey Kisses MICE!
That's right......I took two Hershey Kisses and glued them together to make a mouse.
Here's a close-up of the three different colored mice I made.......
I made and added a pink pom-pom for his nose....and took the heart punch and sandwiched that between the two kisses.......the base for my mouse was a glimmer paper heart and the tail was the actual Hershey Kisses paper.  Of course......some of SU Googlies (eyes) worked out perfectly for the eyes al all my mice.

I wish I could take credit for this FABULOUSLY FUN creation....but my Scrapbooking Buddie Dawn from Wisconsin shared this idea with me back in January and I knew the moment I saw this idea of hers.....that it would be the PERFECT thing to put into the Valentine's Mailboxes I was planning to make for my Saddlebrooke girlfriends.

And because our weather here in Arizona has been so WET.....I knew I would need to secure my Valentine's Mailboxes in some type of plastic packaging.....So here's a shot of what each of my mailboxes looked like after I wrapped them up.......
I made a sweet little "Happy Valentine's Day" tag for each mailbox....and I made sure that I left enough ribbon attached to my package so I would be able to hang each mailbox on our SaddleBrooke mailbox tubes on Valentine's Day morning.

Here's a quick shot of all 23 of my mailboxes ready to be loaded up for delivery.......

And here's my delivery basket as I'm heading out the door at 5:30 this morning to begin delivering my Valentine's Day treats.

So there you have it FRIENDS.......My 2013 Valentine's Mailbox Treats for my SaddleBrooke Friends.  I know they are going to enjoy this little treat....and my hopes are that you too have enjoyed my share.

I'll be back tomorrow to share the sweet little Valentine's Gift that I made for my Jack.......Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
