Card by Tricia Chuba

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends
Today I have a fun fold card to share with you that Tricia Chuba and fellow SW Stamper Friend made for each of us that attended Mary Fish gathering.  Check out this FUN FUN Card......

Tricia create each of the demonstrators that were at Mary's gathering one of these cards and then shared with us how she created it.  I was surprised how quick and easy this card comes together.
Tricia used the Sycamore Street DSP that will be offered in the Sale-A-Bration catalog to create her amazing card.  The magic of this card is you score and cut your 8-1/2"x 11" piece of DSP (or cardstock) so you end up creating two seperate pockets for the front of your card.
Tricia used the "Creative Elements" (P126) stamp set for the image she stamped in Island Indigo on her Labels Collection Framelits layers.  She then tucked her stamped Labels Frame into the back pocket.....and tucked a Chamomile Tea Bag into the front pocket.   Making this the PERFECT Get Well Soon Card.....LOVE IT!
Here's a close-up of what the two pockets look like with NOTHING inserted into them......
And here's the template I made to recall how to make this card (when I got home).  Here's the simple EIGHT STEP directions for making this card.....

1) Take a 8-1/2"x11" piece of cardstock (or DSP) and fold it in half one direction.

2) Open it up and then fold it in half again in the other direction.

3) Use your Paper Snips to cut on the fold line of the RIGHT hand side.  You will be cutting all the way to the center of your cardstock - and cut till you get to the center fold line.

4) On Panel 1 (lower right hand corner) measure out from the CENTER FOLD line 1" and make a tick mark.  This is where you are going to start your fold and bring that corner up to create your first flap (see picture above for fold arrow direction).

5) Do the same thing you just did in step 4 to the upper left hand Panel 3.  You will measure up from the CENTER FOLD line 1" and make a tick mark.  Start your fold at that tick mark and create your second flap (see picture above for fold arrow directions).

6) Now all you need to do is fold over your flaps starting at flap one......Fold Flap 1 over to Flap
2....Flap 2 over to 3....and Flap 3 over to Flap 4. (Tricia told us to remember to fold 1-2-3-4)

7) You should end up with your two flaps to the front of your card and all you will need to do is GLUE your Panel 4 down to the backside of Panel 2 and this will secure your back flap closed.

8) Add a small piece of sticky  tape to the right side edge of your two pockets to secure those down and your DONE!

MANY THANKS to Tricia Chuba for sharing with me how to make this card......BRILLIANT and SO EASY.  I'll be back tomorrow to share the card that Pam Morris had us create.....Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
