Kards by Kadie

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have two super fun cards to share with you.  Let's jump right in......
My first card share for today is from the new stamp set "Pleasant Poppies".  It was one of the first new stamp sets that I just had to buy from the new catalog and knew that my first card would be PINK poppies (is there such a thing?).
I used Raspberry Ripple and Pretty in Pink for my ink and cardstock colors and used the little piece of Pretty in Pink 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon at the end of the stamped image piece.
I also used the new Large Scallop Edgelits dies and the coordinating Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.  The piercing pack templates coordinate PERFECTLY with the edgelit dies and adds that little SOMETHING SOMETHING to my card.
And what I love most about this stamp set is how little work I need to do to make these poppies just POP with color and fun!
And my last card share today is a quick little card I made when my cleaning ladies daughter wanted me to teach her how to make a birthday card for her mom.  I pulled out a retired Stampin' UP! birthday set ........ One that would be perfect for her to color in and we created this GORGEOUS and FUN birthday card last week.
We used the Extra-Large Tag punch and created this super fun little "for you" tag ..... which we hung off a piece of Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon.
And the image was stamped with StatzOn ink and colored in with the Stampin' Write Markers.  For that little WOW FACTOR ...... We used some Crystal Effects on several parts of the stamped images and that created all the SHINE this card was needing.  Ellie was THRILLED with the way her card turned out and she was SO PROUD that she made her mom's birthday card this year.

Thanks for joining me today - I'll be back tomorrow with more Kards by Kadie creations to share with you ........ Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
