CJToo Holiday Kick-Off Project

Happy Happy Wednesday My Dear Blogger Friends - and a SUPER ARIZONA WELCOME to all the CraftJunkieToo Blogger Friends that are visiting me.  Today our fearless leader Tracy over at CraftJunkieToo (http://CraftJunkieToo.blogspot.com) has asked her design team members to kick off the holiday season and post a Christmas project that will help kick off the holiday season for our viewers.  I knew IMMEDIATELY when Tracy asked me to participate in this challenge that I would be creating a super fun Christmas Pennant Banner for my studio............SO.....Let's get right in with my share.....
I have been wanting to create a super fun fabric Holiday Pennant Banner and I had this FUN Christmas fabric and the PERFECT location to hang the banner......all I needed to do was to get stated with creating this fun project........
The location for my pennant banner was going to be right over my studio window and that would be positioned right over my work stations........So ........when I walk into my studio it is right there to greet me.
I used the Stampin' UP Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die (P.221) to create the actual pennants for my banner - and position the smaller pennant inside the center of the larger pennant and topped it off with a Sizzix Alphabet Die set that I had in my stash.
I added some tiny white and red pom-pom's to the outer edges of each of my pennant dies......A fun and sassy little jingle bell was secured to the tip of each of the pennants and a variety of red - white and chocolate chip ribbon were added to the top of each pennant.
The "Ho Ho Ho" letters that I added to each of the pennants were die cut using my Big Shot and an old old old sizzix alphabet set.  I cut the letters out with some chocolate chip felt...and then just glued each of the letters to the center pennant die.
A special little touch I added to the center of each "O" was a big button that was
threaded with Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine.
I joined each of the Ho Ho Ho's to a long line of red grosgrain ribbon.........
And dressed each of the pennants up with some fun ribbon for a FUN and FESTIVE look.
 Here's one of the O's.......
And another set of the "Ho".......
 The "H".......
 And the "O".........
And here's a quick little shot of what the fabric pennants looked like as I was putting them together.
I used some Fabric Tac glue that I picked up at my local craft store.......
I had soooo much fun picking out lots of retired Stampin' UP! Ribbon.......
And joining all the pieces together with more Ribbon and Buttons......
And to tie the whole piece off.....I just clustered several different types and colors of ribbon to the end piece and created a fun little bow to the end of the ribbon piece and called this one DONE!
And this is the view that I see as I sit at my work station in my studio......It totally Kicked Off the Holiday FUN in my studio and my hopes are that it gave you some inspiration to begin your holiday decorating at your own place.

Thanks for stopping in and spending some time at my blog today - and I hope you can return tomorrow and allow me to share more of my Kards by Kadie creations with you.

Keep Living Your Dream!
