CraftJunkie Too Design Team August

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends and Welcome to My Blog!  Today, our fearless leader Tracy over at CraftJunkieToo (http://www.craftjunkietoo.blogspot.com/) has asked her Design Team Members to create a FUN little Back To School project to share with you'all.  When I heard about this design team challenge - I immediately knew that I wanted to create something for my four school age grandkids back in Wisconsin.  I wanted to create a little something that each of them could give to their teacher for the start of their new school year.  Here's what I created.......
I created a fun little school bus using my DoodleCharm cartridge......I added each of their teachers name to the outside of the bus and added some black and yellow filler paper to the top of their bus and on the inside of the bus was where the surprise for the teacher is hidden away......
I wrapped SEVERAL hersey nuggets  using the new It's a Wrap Occasions Stamp Set from SU.  I stamped the images onto Avery Labels and embossed all the labels in FUN BRIGHT colors........
I used my Cricut and the DoodleCharm cartridge to diecut out two of the bus images onto bright yellow and black cardstock.
I sized up the BigShot #2 box die to make the inside box for my bus.  I then adhered the two buses I had diecut from the DoodleCharm cartridge to the sides of my cut-down #2 box and my fun little school bus was created.
With the help of my computer - I was able to create a personal label for each teachers name.  I punched out their name and added that to the side of their bus.
I used my paper trimmer to cut thin stripes of black and yellow cardstock to make filler that I added to the top of each of the buses...........
And without a doubt.......I just know that each of their teachers will love this fun little project that hopefully will sit on the new teachers desk for the first week of school.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you can return tomorrow for more Kards by Kadie creations ....... Keep Living Your Dream!
