Halloween Treats for Grandkids

Happy Halloween To You! Today I want to share a few of the Halloween Treats that I sent to my Grandkids to share with their classmates for Halloween. I say a few....because.....I have 7-grandkids and made 5-different Halloween Treats.......HOWEVER.....I GUESS I was SO DONE with making over 160 treats for all of them-that I forgot to get pictures of the last three treats. GO FIGURE! I am however ready to share the three treats that I did photograph! Here Goes! These little treat holders are from my fellow SouthWest Stamper Sue....She had these in her home at our last demonstrator meeting that I knew I had to make them for two of my grandsons. They are mummy nugget holders made from the new SU Petal Card XL punch.
I joined two of the petal punches together and made 1/4" stripes and inked all the edges to create an adorable mummy.
These next treat holders were for my granddaughter Hailey's classmates. I used the Sizzix Big Shot Two Tags Die. I ran them through the big shot using the spider web embossing folder and then inked over the top of the spider web to make the web POP. I added a smartie candy and top if off with some ribbon. The kids could use the candy holder when they were done with the candy as a book mark....but....I'm thinking that the majority of the kids just ripped and tore their treat holder apart to get to the candy.
Here's what all the treat holders for Hailey's class looked like.
And the last batch of treats were made for my Doll Babies class (Brooke). I made Peppermint Patty Spiders using the Photo Corner and Scallop Circle punch from Stampin Up! I made these special for Brooke - because her favorite chocolate candy is Peppermint Patties and I just knew that she would LOVE anything that used that type of candy.
And I leave you with this close-up of the spiders.........They were made in three different colors - Orange....Purple and Green.
Hope you'all had a fabulous Halloween and I'll be back tomorrow to share some projects that I worked on in October. Keep Living Your Dream!
